Love your videos. I am a soaper too with my own handmade bath & body business. I have a single wire cutter like that too and it does the same thing to me. I bought a multi-bar cutter and love it so much. I get the struggle. Also love your palm free recipe. It’s so amazing to work with. Thanks Tiggy! The next soap I cut on it was slightly softer and I had no trouble at all. I'm still glad I ordered a good one though.

Love the soap! But I can contest I don’t love that cutter as I have the same one and it does the same thing! Drove me nuts so I did order two cutters one Goodspeed and one Bud cutter.

Sounds like a great essential oil blend. I think you need to tighten the wire on your cutter.

I've got the same cutter (well looks the same anyway) and have the exact same problems. Mine was from Turkey via Etsy I thought it was just me. 😁

Tiggy buy a larger washer I believe that will fix the issue of the small block moving. I assume you know what I'm talking about the large circle plate under the screw just in case you don't know lol. Anyway your soap is stunning per usual.

The soap turned out beautiful! I’m sure you tried everything but it looks like the wire isn’t tight enough. If you use a large water discount, maybe cut them a little sooner? I don’t know, just some tips to try. I have one almost identical. But the soaps look like they’re cut very smooth. Maybe I just have a softer recipe or something. ❤️ Vicki

It's the water discount as mentioned. Next soap was fine but I ordered a better cutter anyway as mentioned in the video. X

Oh no, i just purchase a soap cutter like this😩 and my water discount is usually lye concentration 38-40. I will cringe when i use it now🤣

I can see the issue with the cutter, at least I think so from the camera angle. The wire isn't perfectly lined up with the trench it is supposed to dip into. It's hitting the edge of the platform (the side the soap loaf sits on) and either slipping off and into the trench like it should have, or catching there and you are having to push it into place to finish the cut.
