More 2023 flying!

Жыл бұрынAnother warm day in January, so I got out for a second time in a week! First up is a test flight (not with full winds) of Tom's Voyager, really nice flight. Next, I pulled my Sky Gull out of retirement, haven't flown it since 2017, and right off the bat (not with full winds) it gives a nice flight; it's one of the best flying Oldtimers I've ever seen.

When looking at the video the perspective seen seems like the model has gone out of the flying field boundary. Went pretty high. No drift - or wind to push it out of the field.

My voyager does about a minute in still air too. I’m thinking a little wash-in on the right wing might be an ok addition. I love that wing.

Another great video Larry, question… The altimeter is it reading in real time telemetry through the receiver? Or is it a separate device on the plane. Also what altimeter are you using? Keep up the great work and videos, glad to see you back at it!
