More Migrants Arrive at Poland-Belarus Border Amid Rising Tensions
Tensions over migration at the Polish-Belarus border have increased again. As per the Polish government figures, the number of people arriving are significantly increasing. People are trying are to enter EU-member Poland and seek asylum there. Also, Poland and the European Union have accused Belarus and Russia of trying to spread chaos since 2021 by pushing migrants over the frontier. By 2022, Poland had finalised the construction of a state border barrier between the two countries. In the same year, a number of home army monuments in Belarus were purposely destroyed. Amidst tensions over migrations across Europe the far-right parties also called for tougher controls to face off against centrist movements in European Parliament elections.

There are migrants still waiting in Serbia. Some decided to forget their dream of getting to Germany etc and decided to stay but they had to learn the language and find their way either to open up a business or taxi or something - there is no welfare in Serbia and only family helps each other, or the gov will but as an exception only and depends on the situation. No one invited them there. They are brought there by the Belarusian authorities at the behest of Russia in order to provoke a conflict. Poland has no obligation to help them or let them in. It has a duty to defend the borders and security of the country and its citizens with all available means.
