Dr. Candy, I am so impressed by your clear descriptive exercises combined with your pedagogical approach. Recently I (a 70 year old woman from Sweden) discovered this amazing program and want to praise you for your brilliant ability to convey how to use the body correctly to not strain our "pain points", especially for us "oldies"....even young ones. .

I will need a bar to start as I am in my 70's. Not sure if I ever will succeed as I had cancer and the therapy plus heart attack, sciatica surgery. but I will slowly try it as I need more strength in my quads and ankles and hips. Slow and easy! but TY

Excellent explanation I am now following you. The horse stance is one of my lower body exercises. Since isometrics is 80 to 85 percent of my training I rely on this exercise for my lower body training. Also bottom position squat holds are something I do and are very effective. Maybe one day you can do a video on them. Thank you.

Is it ok to start free standing rather than on a chair? I can hold for 1 minute free-standing in an approx half squat. Is that ok?
@More4Life3 ай бұрын
Absolutely! Everyone's physical abilities allow them to start at different levels. If you don’t need the chair, there's no need to use it.

@@More4Life Thanks. I appreciate the way you drill down to what is functional and might work for different people in different circumstances. Keep 'em coming!
