Making A Pumpkin Spice Latte At Home

Alright, sure, this isn’t the fanciest pumpkin spice latte ever, but it sure is delicious!
Check out James Hoffman’s most recent for a n alternative PSL formula that’s just a tasty!

Recipe:
3 tbsp pumpkin purée
2 cups of milk
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
A few cracks of black pepper
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
Constantly stir ingredients into milk, while heating the mixture on the stove. Be careful not to boil it!
Mix until well combined and raw pumpkin flavor has cooked off.
Take off the stove and transfer to a pitcher/milk frother of your choice.
Add espresso or coffee to your favorite mug.
Steam your milk and add it to your coffee base.
Garnish with cinnamon and whipped cream.
Enjoy!

Yep, and I agree with him for a lot of things, except cocktails, they are all designed and perfected volumetrically, especially given the variations in density of a lot of ingredients based on brands.

With me being a former barista (I worked in a few coffee shops for a total of 3 years) my husband thinks it’s odd that I love sweet drinks more than black coffee. 😂 Thank goodness there’s someone else out there that doesn’t hate on adding extra love in their drinks!

Always research things for yourself and from multiple sources. It’s like a puzzle game. Gotta put the pieces together yourself. It’s the only way you’ll ever know what’s truly going on.

@@soccerruben1 This is the best advice. Realize that there's always going to be bias in modern news, find out just the facts, and make up your own mind about it. If you let yourself be led around and consumed by the agenda of billion dollar news companies you'll find yourself in a very negative, pessimistic, depressed and angry mindset. America has problems, but it's really not that bad. Especially compared to a lot of other countries and the problems they have there.

Don't be afraid of whole spices. Cloves, star anise and cinnamon sticks add great flavor and can quickly be removed.

@@Ellie_S Specialty coffee is high quality coffee that has been grown with great care, and only the best beans are selected. It tastes much better than normal coffee. Pour-over is a manual brewing method that gives you a great extraction, and flavor.

Love it! I created a very similar recipe last week, it stores wonderfully in fridge so I have it at the ready. One tip for those that don't like the sediment that comes from the spices and pumpkin, cheese cloth. Place a cheese cloth over mesh strainer and strain the milk before using.

Finally , at home pumpkin spice latte that tastes like Starbucks if not better, thank you so much for sharing the recipe, I added a some half and half , 10 grams of maple syrup, and I already have pumpkin spice mix so I used it (1 table spoon) instead of the spices. Thank you so much again 😊

Morgan! Have you ever made your own cold foam? Also I would love some videos for drinks that don't require ground coffee/coffee beans. I usually have instant coffee on hand 😅
