Ruby Gillmen, the recent Kraken film, ties into the Mort theory as follows: The trident, the ONLY KNOWN WAY OF DEFEATING THE KRAKENS, wielded by the evil mermaid, I suspect, was created by the sky gods (Insert linchpin quote here). Furthermore, since ocean waves are influenced by THE FUCKING MOON, I also believe they literally launched the very same mermaid onto Shrek at the start of the second Shrek film, a half assed way of breaking up the trajectory of his happy ending. This fits timeline wise, since the Kraken movie makes it known mermaids age very, very slowly. Thus, her appearance in the future, during the Shrek films, is canonically possible. EDIT: To clarify, I know there’s the obvious human villain in the film trying to catch a Kraken to prove their existence. Is he part of F.E.E.T? Maybe. But what I DO believe is that the mermaid antagonist functions similarly to how King Julien does; A non-human character that has been recruited by the sky gods as long as they’re seen as useful tools to suppress more powerful beastly influence / intelligence. The trident suspiciously gives her the exact powers her rivals naturally have.

there's a theory that Donkey was one of the little boys that went to Pleasure Island in Pinocchio. the evidence is that when he brings up past memories of wedgies, Puss asks him how that happened when it's obvious he doesn't wear clothes. I just found something interesting. The demons of “the lesser key of solomon” have parts of animals (like Mort), and some of them are literally anthropomorphic animals like the animals in Kung Fu Panda and The Bad Guys. So that means the animals in dreamworks are in some way, demons. which makes sense since the sky gods want to exterminate all animal intelligence.

I left this comment on Part 26 (as well as the glitched version of this video) but it kind of got drowned out by other comments. I wanted to repost it because I’ve got a boatload of evidence for the Mort theory I watched through the Adventures of Puss in Boots TV show a few months ago for a video I was making and when looking back, I realised so many things which tie into this theory. Here’s the most notable points… First, quick rundown of the basics of the show so you’re aware. TL:DR, Puss arrives in a mystical town called San Lorenzo which was previously protected by a great mage known as Sino. However, Puss accidentally breaks the protective seal because he removed one coin from the San Lorenzo treasure room. The show then revolves around Puss protecting the town from bandits and other entities. There’s no real evidence here, I just felt like the context was important. Anyway, time for my main points… In Part 21, someone else mentioned that there are SKY GODS in this show. This is 100% true but what they didn’t mention is that the Gods frequently play MUSIC. Also, they can give God powers to someone else as shown in S6x10 where they gave God powers to Puss One of the major villains of the show is The Bloodwolf who looks STRIKINGLY like the Death wolf. Maybe there’s a connection there? There’s a character in the early episodes called Jack Spratt who is FRENCH. The main thing to keep in mind with him is that he is extremely athletic and is able to climb things with ease and do one handed push ups. He seems more fit than most real people yet he is extremely thin. Possible FEET powers perhaps!? Just like how there are multiple iterations of Mort, there are also multiple iterations of Puss. Not only was Puss able to make a clone of himself in S3x7 but in S5x5 we see various Puss’ from across the multiverse coming together. The most notable alternate version is Evil Puss who appears again in the Season 5 finale. Speaking of which… Season 5 of the show is revolves around an alternate dimension to the netherworld (check S5x1 for a full explanation of what it is because I can’t remember off the top of my head). Evil Puss falls into the portal after being initially defeated which blinds him and turns him into the ‘blind king’ of the netherworld. However, he also gains the ability to see everything within the netherworld through eyes which aren’t his own. Not to mention, the other characters gained abilities when they went into the portal themselves which included flight, telekinesis, intelligence and super strength. So, the netherworld can provide powers to those who enter which may mean that FEET use the netherworld to force evolve their members Interestingly though, Puss is once again an anomaly. Whilst all of his friends get powers when going into the netherworld portal, Puss doesn’t and it’s NEVER explained why he doesn’t. I haven’t figured out why but it’s worth noting either way There’s a lot of time travel shenanigans in the show surprisingly. By the end of Season 6 it is revealed that the real world and the netherworld are colliding which will end up destroying the real world (but not the netherworld strangely). As a result, Sino is summoned again but is unable to stop the destruction. SO THE WORLD IS LITERALLY DESTROYED. It’s only fixed after Sino sends Puss back in time to the very first episode to stop him from entering San Lorenzo and breaking the seal. Puss has his memories but to all intense and purposes, the show never really happened (although he got to stay with his GF from the show until Kitty replaced her). So basically, a wizard was able to reset a timeline. Could this mean that stories like Kung Fu Panda are actually in a reset timeline instead of the far future which was created after animals rose up and learnt magic? Maybe but I’m mostly just spitballing ideas and seeing what sticks This is a smaller point but S1x13 also shows a wishing star which is actually a character with personality who can interact with one of the characters. It’s nothing mind blowing but wishing stars are prevalent in Dreamworks (especially the Shrek-verse) so it’s worth acknowledging That’s everything I could think of off the top of my head. I started watching AHKJ because of your videos, and I realized something while watching this mashup: the whole plot of the first episode was a plot by the gods to make Julian King so he could throw epic dance parties. Julian's uncle, the last king, banned all music for fear of the fossas. That the fossas will eat the kind is foretold, and nothing he does can change the prophecy, no matter how many lemurs he sacrifices. So Julian's uncle resigns and flees, making the singing, dancing Julian king. A small bit of his tail is eaten, and Julian stays alive to throw epic dance parties.

So if Mort is Kronus, that would mean that Pineapple is Zeus, and if Julian is basically seen to have the blood of god, does that then raise the idea that Pineapple could have other children? Perhaps something along the lines of FEET being the children of Pineapple as Zeus? That could mean that the humans are not enhanced by random means, but are instead created or born to be more powerful, thus the mortal humans becoming weaker and dying off would be entirely accurate. The myth of Kronus also includes the idea that Zeus leads his siblings against Kronus in a war that ends with his sealing in Tartarus. What if DreamWorks is using their movies to explore the idea of Kronus being the victor of that war in the form of Mort, and the extinction of humanity is an exact result of Kronus creating life as he wishes rather than the life that his offsprings created. Mort never created humans, Pineapple created humans, and as such, Mort doesn't have any whims on if humans die or not, instead he wishes for their destruction along with the destruction of the Sky Gods in order to create his own race of intelligent creatures, a race of intelligent beasts. This way, it would tie Mort eating fruits into the myth of Kronus, which then ties into the idea of Pineapple fighting Mort and forcing him to release Pineapples siblings. THIS WOULD ALSO TIE BACK INTO MORT VOMITTING SO MUCH, BECAUSE HE IS RELEASING THE SOULS OF MORE GODS AS HE VOMITS. In AHKJ, we only see Pineapple to begin with, which is to be expected, because in the myth, Zeus isn't eaten. But then as Mort vomits more and more, we see the pantheon of Sky Gods become more and more populated, as if Mort is being forced by Pineapple to vomit up his siblings. So in conclusion, Mort has complete control of time, and when he won the war against the Sky Gods, he annihilated humans, then used his race of intelligent beasts to eradicate the last of FEET, the last of the Demigods, in order to create a world that he was satisfied with. TL;DR Mort ate the Sky Gods, Pineapple forced him to vomit them up, the Sky Gods lost the war against Mort, Mort destroyed humans, created his own race, then used that race to wipe out FEET

If music is the multiversal language, and the trolls in the 2nd trolls movie invented music, does that mean that trolls have a tie to the sky gods? Now that I think about it, in the first movie pop trolls were described as being a snack for the bergins, they are a food item just like the gods. (This also might seem outlandish, but what if bergins evolved into humans? Their lifestyle and look are closer resemblance to humans than the other creatures in this universe. I think the idea that King Julian is a descendant of the Sky Gods and that pineapple might contain the souls of all the previous Julian kings is really interesting and possibly significant. First of all, perhaps the Julian line was established on the mortal plane in the first place to keep mort in check, seeing how Julian's feet make Mort so week. Perhaps the feet of king julian's ancestors had a similar effect? And perhaps this would also account for the absurd amount of inbreeding that took place among the lemurs, especially in regards to king Julian's family; perhaps the point about king Julian's parents repopulating the whole island (a point I think you mentioned in part 1) was an effort to create a whole legion of lemurs with feet that weakened mort. However, this wasn't effective, which we can see not only from the fact that Mort is not affected by the feet of most lemurs, but that he actively finds uncle king Julian's feet disgusting. Thus, the family likely resorted to inbreeding to keep the sky god bloodline intact, and king Julian, being the result of massive amounts of inbreeding, ended up with feet that once again made mort weak. maybe.

I mean, I would like to point out... Death in 'The Last Wish' has a Mort-like face coloration, specifically goes after Puss for his slowly humanizing behavior, whistles/treats battles with himself like dances, and generally has a similar attitude to Mort and leaves when Puss gets the point. Like, this is us actually seeing the true form of Mort for the first time ever. Specifically, he was prepared to cut Puss down if he had taken the wish and used the ressurection/life extension wish, but specifically stopped because he started fighting for others with their support, wishing to fight not for vanity but for community and mutual strengthening. Mort stopped fighting him... because Puss finally switched sides. Puss is now Mort's direct hatchetman, and Mort has recombined himself and is now the turning of the tide.

Astounding video as usual, but I just wanna ask one thing. If Death in Puss in Boots takes the form of whatever one most fears, why was Puss not afraid of the granny wolf from Shrek? (He's standing next to him in miltiple scenes of Scared Shrekless) I think its more likely that Wolf Death is simply a form Mort took to hide his identity. Throughout theovie, he's chasing Puss based purely on bloodlust. He despises that someone was able to allude his grasp for so long, calling 9 lives "Unnatural". The concept of cats having 9 lives originates from ancient Egyptians, specifically the SUN god Ra, who they believe gave life to several offspring who were also gods, but took the form of cats (Sekhmet, Mafdet, Bastet, and Tefnut for instance). Gods were very heavily associated with rebirth, and therefore so did cats. This, of course, makes cats the naturally enemy of the Moon dreamer, Mort. He created a wolf form for himself because he wanted to disguise his actions, he knows that this goes against the rules, as its not Puss's time yet (This is clearly outlined when Death meets Puss in the cavern of lost souls) but he desires to hunt and kill him anyway simply because he loves seeing his fear, and hates the concept of rebirth, the antithesis to the balance between life and death that Kung Fu Panda outlines. He only gives up because Puss isn't afraid and it isn't fun for him anymore. The reason he pulled Puss out of his world in All Hail King Julian is because he was trying to prematurely cause what he knows Puss's 8th death is. We know Death knows it was about to happen because he was IN THE CROWD WAITING during the giant fight. What's Puss's 8th death caused by? MUSIC. Puss attempting to perform a needless encore, immediately cut short by a bell falling and crushing him, a very "perfectly cut" memeworthy moment.

I feel like there is some sort of time loop in the dreamworks universe. Recall back to that one time where Clover said "I know kung fu, the panda variety," or how the general from MvsA had a Shrek pin, if Shrek and KFP happened after the collapse of modern civilization, then how does Clover and the general reference Po and Shrek? My idea is that it's an infinite cycle. Mort wins, then the sky gods win, and then it happens over and over again, with the same events on loop. An infinite battle against Mort and his children

I am also certain the penguins (not just the four but their global network [there is a global network confirmed by Buck Rockgut and Uncle Nigel]) are a third party in the war, after all, skipper's team constantly fights foot agents, and operatives, while rejecting nature, literally, on the daily with the only one rivaling there skill being agent X (Man needs a lore video about himself HIS NAME WAS CLASSIFIED FROM BIRTH HE IS A GENETICALLY ENGINEERED BIO-WEAPON) yet also has foot allies (Chuck Charles) anyways, BUT at the same time they battle rouge intelligent animals seeking to conquer the world and the penguins specifically mention preparing to fight the aliens who they know a ridiculous amount about. the main 4 keep recreating tech and monsters under their base in 14 levels each more secure and classified than the last. All of this has led me to believe that the Penguins (Globally) are a separate organization that works to keep the balance between the powers so that one dent surpasses the other. My final theory is that the main 4 are the failsafe for the end of the world, think about it, Rico had the one thing that enabled instant cloning with Kowalski's tech who was also proficient in gene splicing, think about it when everything dies these four could bring back everything and change them genetically, this could explain, why the animals in kung fu panda use human and weapons, especially in kung fu panda where they use weapons that would have existed in the era of General Shingen. Rico and Kowalski bring back the population, privately keep the penguins focused on the moral path and not seeking control, and Skipper leads them and trains the hybrids on how to fight. the penguins are responsible for the change in power... but this has been my ted talk goodnight...

What I wonder is in the penguins of Madagascar end credits, why did Mort eat Julien-temporarily-if he loves and respects and idolizes him so much? I mean I get that he wants to “be with him forever and ever and ever” even if he did die he’d keep his body, or his feet. I thought mort was very off and creepy as a kid especially in the second movie and that show way confirmed that theory and ran with it and your multipart theory exploded it into multiverse territory. In the second movie mort was carrying scissors and hand cream and I’d morbidly thought what if he’d cut off julien’s feet and use the hand cream on them as he kept them? Then lo and behold mort practically almost does this a couple times in All Hail King Julien. The plane crash in M2 had to be him because he was holding wires he presumably cut with the scissors to hold on, or an evil gremlin looking personality took over and tried to make the plane crash on purpose. And the door opened and sucked Julien out of the falling plane with Emile’s skeleton with a parachute, the sky gods to save him.

Ok, so remember back in the the first season of All Hail King Julien when Julien had a dream that was a reference to Twin Peaks, well that reminded me of another show where the same reference was made, Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated. I thought nothing of it until I realized that THE SHOWS HAVE THE SAME PRODUCER! I then realized that the reference in Mystery Incorporated was actually important to the story of the show, and was used to explain multiple aspects of the lore. Considering in AHKJ Mort travels to the IRL universe, it begs the question, do the live action DreamWorks films have any connections? Funnily enough, there's NO MOON to be seen at all in the opening logo to a Live Action DreamWorks film, insinuating that the Sky Gods have little to NO influence over the live action world. However, I can't help but remember a lesser known DreamWorks film called "Mouse Hunt" a comedy about two bumbling humans trying to get rid of a pesky (seemingly sentient) little mouse.

Theorizer sir, Dreamworks recently added onto their netflix series of Kung Fu Panda. Haven't watched it yet, but depending where Kung Fu Panda is on the timeline, we could have more insights onto what is to come of Mort's whole thing Edit and Spoilers for KFP: Dragon Knights: We all know how the moon is some sort of force or God among all of DreamWorks. I have watched all of the Kung Fu Panda: Dragon Knights series. And in the first season, Po and Blade(new character) are running from some Rhino guards. It soon shows a festival among some water rafts, the civilians would soon look towards the moon, some of the Rhino guards even look at the moon. They looked somewhat enchanted by it. Giving Po and Blade time to escape and leave. Next, two weasels, outlaws of England, Klaus and Veruca are trying to get power. It soon reveals that Veruca has magic. And guess what, her magic is only powerful at night.

On the tod death thing is is possible that Mort isn't this world's Mort but tod is and Mort came to it through the wardrobe?

You think mort is some sort of eldrich being that wasn't in the dreamworksiverse that seeped it's way into the dimension with the skygods, with the intent to consume everything and destroy it all, but in an effort to stop him the skygods sealed him on their home island with song and dance, but mort is truly to powerful to be contained, so his mere existence in the realms causes a slow recession in evolution back to the primoridal aether before the skygods were born, so they could have never created anything, and mort could feast upon the pure energy that remains, which is why things get slowly less technical and become more magical and animalirtic. And the one battle mort fought that resulted innthe banishment of his memories was against the skygods, and they work with smart mort because he doesn't remember, and they're doing a psychological dance to figure out a way to permanently seal him?

I found something that might be a piece of evidence towards this theory. I think the Guardians from Rise of the Guardians are actually the Sky Gods, not just created warriors. One thing that makes me think this is that when the “Man in the Moon” is choosing a new guardian, they all take guesses on who it could be. Sandman suggests a leprechaun, and the Easter Bunny repeats “Please not the groundhog.” The groundhog seems to represent, and one of the few themes of Groundhog Day is the idea of a time loop. Obviously one of the big examples of this theme is the 90’s Bill Murray movie, “Groundhog Day” where he gets stuck in a time loop on Groundhog Day. (I’m not claiming that this movie is canon to the Dreamworks universe, it’s just an example of the time loop theme) And one of the abilities that the Sky Gods have is seemingly being able to create some form of time loops as shown in the opening to Shrek 4[45:46] and Shrek’s Thriller Night [1:45:45]. This one is easily the biggest connection, the other guardians are slightly more difficult to connect. The aforementioned leprechaun could represent the incredible luck that the footmen have, such as DuBois falling into the pool during the chase through Monte Carlo in Madagascar 3[25:03]. The Easter Bunny may also represent the few animal relations that exist inside of FEET, such as King Julien or the Monsters in MvA. (Maybe the Easter Bunny is Pineapple, which could also explain why pineapple is revived by the monsters in one of the short films[1:37:40]). I’m not sure what Jack Frost, Santa Claus, Sandman or Tooth Fairy represent, but I think this theory has some legs to stand on.

I just went through all 3 compilations playing in the background while doing my own worldbuilding because bro’s manic laughter and dip into insanity after making a connection is the most relatable writing experience tbh, but then I get to the end and realize Mort’s whole inseparable connection to time itself, unintentionally but always intended arbiter of the apocalypse due to the also inseparable connection between him and the natural force of death, a rare being capable of comprehending the lives and deaths of infinite cosmos all hidden behind a facade of a child-like being is disturbingly similar to one of the “gods” (his original concept was of a god but currently he’s just some mysterious bitch who likes to claim he’s some kind of god) in the very world-building I’m working on. Guess I have to incorporate some sort of mort/theorizer reference into his character as tribute lol.

Do you think there is a multiverse like with Pixar? If so it may be all connected in the case of the dreamwork multiverse, and the French death is the key. This is just my opinion, and I may be wrong, but it would not hurt to check. Right?

Here's a second comment cause my first one was too long: -Monsters vs Aliens implies pretty strongly that any monster you can think of was very much real, at least at some point, including the ones who've inspired books (Invisible Man) or films (The Missing Link). It therefore makes sense that there are all these creatures in fairy tales that actually exist, it's because they're real and were recorded in tales. W.R. Monger has that pin of an ogre. If the timeline goes "Shrek during medieval times," then, via the Road to El Dorado, colonizers most likely just got to the continent (Shrek probably takes place in America, even if I wished it didn't) and killed the lot of them, and W.R. Monger descends from them or his organization is an extension of medieval ones like it. --That might be significant too since those colonizers came from Spain, which is Puss' home country and it's already been established in the canon of that show that Spain has towns hidden by magic and Puss should still know how to find San Lorenzo, so perhaps the Spanish are also a part of this and they genocided every magical creature in their own country? It's possible. In the case of that, it's possible Puss, Kitty, and Perrito found one of these hidden towns to hide in. That's just a possible theory though. -If we go with the timeline that goes "Shrek in the far future," then it still makes sense: organizations like W.R. Monger's have been oppressing ogres for ages, this race of strong and proud warrior men and women, resulting in them being such isolated and miserable beasts in Shrek. At this point, W.R. Monger and people like him haven't let monsters be public knowledge, let alone be free, for very long. Ogres very much still live with the thought in mind that at any point, a congregation of ogres could be captured or murdered like that, so they isolate themselves and scare away any villagers that bother them. --In this version of the timeline, those hidden villages in Spain is where fairy tale creatures and talking animals might've been hiding all along and then during the time of Shrek, they come out to play. In this time period, with human knowledge slowly being lost, a lot of people are named or nicknamed after famous fairy tales. -Further proof of this whole "all monsters and creatures are real and their existence is being kept secret" thing is the entirety of Abominable. In this movie, it turns out there's a whole race of gigantic yeti (seriously, the babies tower over adult men) capable of controlling the environment through, get this, song. They sing and they can control the environment and furthermore, the main protagonist learns how to facilitate and then do it herself using her violin. Either way, since this movie takes place in China, obviously, this falls outside the jurisdiction of American organizations, which means that opportunists like Dr. Zara, who definitely has ties in FEET, to interfere with the operations of good men like Mr. Burnish and sell the yeti baby to the highest bidder. -Finally, just kind of annoyed me no one clarified this, the villain in the Boss Baby is an ex-employee of that baby corporation that is a front for FEET and seems to be some type of heavenly organization with weird, nefarious purposes? I dunno, but that's why even though he runs Puppy Corp, he still has the French name, he's taking revenge on the corporation that abandoned him. That's all for now, hope it helps.

I noticed that the memes talked about in this theory are of the funny Markiplier kind, but the actual definition of "memes" isn't that, it isn't that at all. The DICTONARY definition for memes goes as follows; "an element of a culture or system of behavior passed from one individual to another by imitation or other nongenetic means." Dubois, the general from monsters vs. aliens, the fairy godmother, Prince Charming, Jack Horner, etc. If Reggie WAS the founder of the music cult that lead to the founding of F.E.E.T, then this could be a clue.
