When Jax realizes time is of the essence to save Sonya, a fellow lieutenant in the Outworld Investigation Agency, from Kano's deadly hand, he holds nothing back in this action-packed, two-on-one battle to keep a shipment of stolen Robotic Defense Program material out of Kano's hands. But can Jax and Sonya do it? Kano is a ruthless, evil leader of the "Black Dragon" international crime organization, and anyone who's tried to take him down has never lived to tell about it!

@S Wright looked like a really bad halloween costume and for what is a big character they just used for one scene. Reptile was even worse - should have been a standard reptile ninja from the start instead of that really bad cgi lizard (yes, it was even bad at the time). Thats not reptiles back stpry at all and baraka didnt even get a back story so i dont know what you watched

When I was a kid I always thought that the perfect actress to play Sonya Blade was Linda Hamilton (Sara Connor), pity that nobody thought about her for some MK movie when she was young.

And to think Cameron Diaz was close to being cast. I am thrilled Bridgette ended up as Sonya..she did her own stunts! Off topic but as a kid I always thought the chick who played Kitana would have been a perfect Lara Croft but years later Angelina Jolie crushed my hopes for that to happen 😭

This is better than the original mortal kombat. I know I'll get hate for it but most of the love for the original is nostalgia. If it came out now as it is it would be terrible. This is way better and I love how they are keeping the characters true to their origins and backstories.
