My Gramma did too.. She ate eggs every single day that I can remember she lived to be 100, she would have lived longer but she died of a broken heart. I was so sad. She cooked and cleaned and washed dishes every single day.

People do need protein containing cholesterol. Everything should have its reasonable/well-guarded limit. I'll be 84 soon in August 2023; I enjoy having limited egg meals weekly, with no risk of cholesterol limit warnings from my family doctor. No smoking. Limited drinking. Hello Dr. Mandell, I am so grateful to you breaking down the egg/cholestrol myths which has kept me scared of consuming eggs,as I am In the high LDL cholestrol group. I was told by doctors, that I have a genetically imbalanced liver that produces the bad cholestrol. Now Im conviced that may not depend only on the genetics, but over all on my diet which is more vegetarian food, and not deep fried that I have lasted this long with out a stroke or heart attack and I eat about 6-7 eggs a week. I thank you Dr Mandell for all the great information and work you do. May the good Lord bless you! 🎉🎉

Years ago I had the honor of meeting a Neurologist from Switzerland who was in practice for 50 years. He said that eggs are a perfect food and that a soft boiled or a poached egg was ideal for the body. He also remarked that the white of the egg was similar in composition to the fluid surrounding our brain. His synopsis of egg consumption was the same as you have shared with this video. Thank you!

I saved in my notes: Per Dr Robert Thompson: It is quite simple. When you rupture the yolk and heat it, you expose the good cholesterol HDL to oxygen, it becomes rancid fat or lipid peroxide, highly atherogenic, toxic fat. Rupturing the yolk is not the problem, it is the oxygen and heat. So any heated ruptured yolk is totally toxic fat. Any intact yolk is 100% good HDL cholesterol. All hormones, including D, come from HDL, and your brain is 25 % HDL cholesterol. So get more. I explain this in chapter 7 of the Calcium Lie 2. Goes with what the Switzerland neurologist said. I especially appreciate that since I have MS (31 years) which affects the myelin sheath in the brain and spinal cord.

Cholesterol works like a shuttle. When people eat bad food like sugar, it can tear a blood vane and the LDL acts like a fireman, it will go to the site to seal it. like putting the fire out. So it's the sugar and refined carbs that turn into sugar that cause clogged arteries. The LDL is really a life saver. Moderate exercising will increase HDL very quickly.

Yes, it's my experience. Eggs are healthy. Unfortunately almost all doctors caution against eating yolk especially people who have CHD and CLD. I have both. Despite having 3 stented arteries including LAD and liver Cirrhosis, i started ignoring the advice against yolk, I have been taking 2 whole eggs plus one white 365 days and my blood parameters are now perfect. I was on the verge of liver transplant. I have a healthy liver now, minus of course the Cirrhosis segments devastated by lesion , carcinoma. Cardiac and liver issues are past. Of course i have been supplementing with nutritious diet and exercise. I am 72. If i can recover, you can too.

Dear Doctor Mandel, I know a lot about nutrition mostly learned from my European upbringing and I am grateful for what I know as well as what I am continuing to learn‼️ You have been my favorite online Guru when it comes to my health as well as millions of followers. You cover a wide spectrum of sound information and make it very easy to digest and I come back for more. Today in this video you opened my eyes to the importance of a simple little chicken egg 🥚 I never knew 😮 you have actually inspired me to go out and buy a dozen of chicken 🐓 and a rooster 🐔 I live in a two bedroom apartment so I will convert one bedroom into a chicken coop and hope I can convince the rooster not to make too much noise so no one will know that I get fresh egg deliveries every morning 🤣 Thank you Dr. Mandel,, we NEED many more doctors like you‼️🙏👌🥚🌹

Thank you so much Dr Mandell- I live in France, where the products are mostly unprocessed and fresh--People here do not use freezers as much as Americans -- they go to the markets several times a week-- the wonderful French baguette cannot be kept for more than 24 hours- so fresh bread every day is still the norm--As for eggs --I love them especially as I do not desire to eat meat . I especially thank you Doctor because I was under the false impression that one should not eat too many eggs Now I feel free to eat as many as I please-- I have learned to make fabulous soufflés!

I married my husband when I was 21; he was 44. He lived through the Great Depression with his folks and 4 siblings. If you didn't grow it then, you didn't eat it, so they had a big garden, chickens, and rabbits. He had been a swimmer and quarterback when he was young. When his dad had a heart attack, my husband quit high school and joined the Merchant Marines to support his family. He told me he ate a dozen eggs for breakfast back then. He was a Marine during the Korean War. When we got married, he could still do a triple somersault off the diving board. He was eating 4 eggs every morning. As he got older, he ate less eggs, but until his death at 81 (genetic COPD), he was a pretty healthy guy.

I can't wait to sleep and get off sleep and migraine medication! I'm in the process of coming of diazepam (under doctors supervision, and those are next!. I have to learn which magnesium I need. I feel you have given me a new lease on life!. About 3 months ago, with no appetite, my son, very healthy and wise, told me to start eating eggs. I usually have 2 a day, with added sharp cheddar cheese in a tiny amount of coconut oil. My husband swears I'm killing myself. I know I can't eat gluten...not Celiac, just very sensitive to it. I use raw honey as a sweetener, do not crave sugar, I just need to get my kidneys flushing out the poison from the meds (I drink at least 6 glasses..16oz of water a day, 1 cup of coffee in the morning, never past 10 am. I finally fall asleep around 5 am for usually 2 sometimes 3 hours. If you can give me the magnesium compound or multivitamin I could start off with..I know I can't correct it all at one time! Along with magnesium it is essential that you drink at least 8 8 ounces of water before noon. That is what I do. I am 67 and take no doctor prescribed drugs andy husband is 75 and he doesn't take any prescribed drugs either. He is so healthy that he still enjoys working outside doing arborist and landscaping our yard. He digs and plants and is stronger than most men half his age.
