IN THIS quick VIDEO I demonstrate how I installed the headlight on my motorcycle in a cheap headlight bucket that utilizes weird little wire spring clips to hold it in the bucket.

I bought the same bucket the same headlight for my bike. And those clips had me dumb founded. Then I came across this. I started this project as a boy. But now I'm a man. Thank you. LOL.

I looked on Amazon and their picture shows the bends under the trim ring and the straight end against the ledge of the light. Opposite of the way you did. Was so much easier.

this helped me out so much!, I was having g one heck of a time with them and the instructions didn't have words, just pictures, so it never occurred to me to "hook" them on the ledge! Awesome video, thanks!

How do you have gray hair but you've never threaded a headlight bucket before? Have you never owned a car built before 1980? Just about every car on the road with round headlights used to have threaded buckets like that holding in a glass bulb lens.

@@BigBrownie96 no pic, but there are bolt holes in the housing that you can use to put in some bolts, then I used those as attachment points for a short bungie cord reaching back to the triple tree.

This helped a lot, but the lightbulb moment came when I put a thick plastic drinking straw over the loose end and slid it back off once under the lip, after struggling for an age it then took me 2 minutes to do them all.

I bought a light very simular but it is abs instead of steel and what a peice of s**t. Only good thing about it was the $17 price tag

Mine doesn’t have the metal tabs. The 4 clips are just supposed to stay in perfect balance. This system is criminally bad

This is a horrible headlight bucket/housing to have those stupid clips dont hold the light in place very well no real hardware out side of 2 screws the rest is 4 wire clips and a snap clip head light still moves kept buring my headlights from so much vibration poor quality products go another route if u want something secure
