I had same problem on a new build, the gear wore out before the engine was even broke in! I think the gear was not heat treated and was to soft metal,, replaced with aliexpress gear and now good to go, robin

That sucks but good video. Once you put the clutch and bevel gears on, make sure they sit flush with the crankshaft and clutch shaft. This helps keep the gears inline and not wobble as much. If it has to much wobble from the bevel gear, you can use a hammer to try and tap down the high side. Trued crankshafts help as well. Also, those pale looking clutch pads are really good.

You should not use a metal washer between the gears! A piece of copper wire inserted into the gear tooth won't damage the gears

Hey cut a hole in the center if ur air filter half inch by half inch and if u can with out people getting mad at u TAKE muffler cap off u will gain a lot more power. If u like the high speed power keep the muffler cap on.I did this ti my 100cc anbull engine and u hit 40 mph on a 44 tooth sprocket

please make a hydraulic clutch installation and tear down also how to properly refill correctly , I have a yd100 with hydraulic clutch and the hose guard must've moved one day and it melted on my exhaust, it broke so I bought a new line hooked it up I bled it and filled it with magura blood clutch mineral oil and still no engagement and its like my back tire is like stuck now idk wtf to do been so pissed at this ??

This happened to my friends bike just recently I gave him the cog off an old engine I had he had a problem for days before where we thought clutch was slipping and turns out no teeth left on gear lol

Not all the gears are made of the same metal and you put the 8mm ball from the clutch in the puller tool so you don't damage the end of the crank

New 49cc motor ... The crankshaft key had never been installed...Just wasn't there. A puller was included in the parts, but wasn't needed to remove the small gear. The Woodruff key it requires seems to be smaller than what most use... The usual key is 3.0mm, but the slot in the gear and shaft on mine is 2.5mm...Looks like I;ll be grinding & filing on one for a while.

Drive shaft is seized, easy fix wd40, vital engine lube, and elbow grease (time stamp 6:00)

Use your 21mm wrench while your tightening the jack bolt

So mine won’t work until I either hold it in the air and jump start it like a dirt bike or i peddle against the clutch and start it what’s wrong here ?

lol wow you got some tough trolls in the comments lol . i never seen this happen not that i have seen alot of clutch problems . what i think happened is your clutch pad slipped between the plates and locked up the clutch and then the teeth just grinded off . if you notice the teeth missing are pretty much in one spot on the big clutch gear . but i am only guessing . but good job hope you got it all good now .

Hey please reply to me. Where can I buy both gears from. The small one and the big one. I only had my motor for a week now and I broke all the teeth off the gears. I just got a new job and the bike is my only thing I have to get to work. I'm so disappointed in myself for damaging my new motor and now I don't have transportation I just started working and now I missed work. I saved up with the little bit of money I made washing cars and cutting grass to buy a bike and a motor kit yd100 and being homeless trying to at least have some sort of transportation really helps and now I feel so hopeless again I'm sorry for the long text 🙏
