Lots of people saying they wish there was a sequel/explanation, but i think that is the beauty of the endying of this movie. The shear awe of the realization of where he is. And just ending it there

I think a good sequel isn’t possible. The ending leaves so much to yourself and the imagination of what this place is, who the aliens are, what they are doing etc. Giving too much away would probably make it all seem incomplete and like a let down. As much as I would love to go deeper into the rabbit hole and explore where he is and what is going on, I doubt it could be rightfully done.

This movie was way ahead of it's time. Even in 2023 this movie would have been a huge success. Nice to see Nightwing Dick Grayson in this movie. He beefed up a lot in Titans. When I saw the first time, I was wondering what exactly was going on the whole time until the ending. And then I saw it again for full satisfaction. Experience was outstanding! 10/10 Sad that movies like these don't come often these days.

It works extremely well in a short format. There is a great episode of the Outer Limits where this guy on a spaceship being attacked by aliens keeps switching between the ship reality and himself on Earth, safe with his family as he recovers in a hospital, and the whole episode makes you wonder which one is real... and then it turns out the aliens were mind controlling spiders that got them right in the beginning, and the whole time he was dying as this thing ate his brain. But as a movie? No sir.

Obviously he might have more trouble than the others but that doesn't guarantee he'll fail, nor do I personally think it means we should stop people from trying. I mean if it becomes a regular issue then someone might have to say something but for all we know the character in the movie could generally be fine but this was a rare instance. It definitely looks frustrating especially since his condition wasn't something he was necessarily born with and appears to be getting progressively worse but overall I just mean I think that still giving people a chance at normalcy is better than no option at all. Of course that depends from person to person and I can imagine for a lot of people it's a very difficult balancing act of having people acknowledge their situation while also not being treated as drastically different from everyone else.

If I'm polite enough to open the door for a normal person, I'd do the same for someone in a wheelchair. Having to go out of my way to not be polite for a wheelchair-bound might be acting outside the norm. It's so confusing...

@@grimsquad273 Keep in mind the rooms with exploded stuff on the walls and the burned hallways. The people they tested weren't ALL shot... apparently quite a few of them exploded or gruesomely died in other ways. Which is why the aliens were so happy with the main character being able to make use of their technology without negative consequences.

If they're wearing hazmat suits, how did their finger grease adhere to the keypad in his room? Why would they simulate that for him to escape? Was that the point? See if he knew the dust-on-the-greasy-keypad trick?
