It seems like that mower would follow the contour of the ground better if it had some boogie wheels on it. Then you could leave your loader in float.

One thing I like is when in really rough tall unknown brush is the mower is going to run over stuff before the tractor does. I still feel a really rough field and I mean really rough I'd want a skid steer with a front brush hog, and my skid steer would be a track model.

They should add a spring loaded wheel to the front to reduce the bounce and improve the cut.

Seems like it would work best with the front tilted down just like with a rotary cutter. My interest in an attachment like this is definitely not mowing a place where I can mow with a rotary cutter, but rather trimming back tree branches an mowing ditches and banks.

For stuff like the first field you mowed, I just use the mid-mount mower on my MF 1736M. In hindsight, I should have bought a rear-mounted mower or brush cutter, but the mid-mount gets the job done.

Yes the earlier video of : offset cutting, brush cutting branches and hedge rows showed the mowers strengths. We can all see a brush cutter would do a better / faster job mowing the field ( I like the volunteer of the sheep ). This is a good "poor man's ??? " excavator with a forestry head. You should look at Precision Manufacturing's Tame It stick for the front to keep the Hydraulic lines under control and keep from snagging anything.

Get a 60 series Kubota and get the quick attach with a flail mower on the front and put a boom mower on the 3ph. 🤔🤔🤔

What kind of front load implements do you have for the BX series? Other than the typical loader/grappler/snow blower. I love the skid steer system for it and I have the grappler. Would love more front attachments

So I called and your guys they said a switch to the third function on the front end loader doesn’t have the flow. That rear remote lines would need to be run to the front. How to do you keep the remote lever active without holding it. Can you do a video about that changes needed to be made to run this mower. Please!

Idk about this. Its saying the power pack gives 11.4 gpm. I dont think it enough power for brush and sticks. For field I think traditional mount is better.

Neil, would you do me a favor and do another video comparing GST (shuttle shift) and HST (hydrostatic shift). I located your video from two yrs ago and wanted to really compare the pros and cons to both. Is there a difference now on newer or upcoming tractors? I was planning on getting a B-series (2650) tractor and will probably use it for mowing 75% of the time. I would also like some information on the new LX Series coming out (2020). I'm trying to determine what's best option , what's going to be maintenance friendly, and I don't want to hear transmission whine while using the tractor. Thanks

I don't think that's the best use of a Trail Blazer. Upright, for clearing overhanging brush and limbs, along the side of trails, seems like the preferred use.
