Ray Shoesmith ‘takes care of people’ - collecting debts, relieving them of drugs and guns, and often taking care of them on a more permanent basis. Ray demands respect and does not tolerate others disregarding his very clear code of ethics. As Ray’s increasingly volatile work collides with his imploding personal life, he finds himself struggling to stay atop the complex web he has woven.

They never explained it, but Brittany could easily turned from a sweet little girl to a sassy teen in the 2 years of schooling between season 2 and 3. I was surprised by the new Brittany but it makes sense. 12 was never easy, and things can only get harder.

As a father of daughters myself, I can feel his smoldering rage and yet loving attempt to try to understand why his daughter is giving him so much sass even though she's the one who messed up. It's one of the reasons why I love this series is the balance between his criminal life and trying to be a father.

As a father of two boys growing up, I had guns. When the kids found out I had a gun, I made sure it was unloaded, I handed it to them and told them both to play with it, they basically just ran around the house yelling bang bang. When it was over I talked to them about guns and how they weren’t toys. I took them out shooting to show them what a gun can do so that this way they weren’t curious about guns . I put up balloons, and told them to shoot it. When they were done, I took them over to the balloons, and told them to put them back together. They just looked at me and I said when you use a gun and shoot somebody this is what happens. there’s no fixing it once you pull the trigger. And they understood and they never touched my guns. they never played with them or anything. They are now responsible gun owners.

It's a good lesson. Yeah, sure, lots of people survive gunshots, but the point is, you can't unshoot someone. Once you pull the trigger and the bullet's on its way, you can't call it back, and you have to deal with whatever happens because of it. Some wounds heal, but some don't. Sometimes you can cover the damage with a picture, and sometimes you can't. I've known plenty of people who survived gunshot wounds, but I've also known plenty who've died from them too. Furballami's lesson is good.
@furballami5842

@@kirinrex Thank you. As adults we know what you say is true. My lesson with the balloons was to show that actions has consequences. You cannot undead a dead person shot and killed. And the reason why I didn’t really get into the fact that people survive gunshots is I didn’t want them to be able to have that choice of thinking well if I shoot them they will survive I would rather them have fun at that early age that once you shoot somebody death could be the result of that shooting action. I thought it was a good lesson for them to learn about guns, and how dangerous they definitely could be.

Yes that is the old door height before 1980s in many of the British Commonwealth nations including Aus. Yes modern doors handles is slightly low most likely due to accessibility code. But Aus just has alot of old homes which kept alot of it's furnishing details. My previous home in Melbourne from the 1930s had two original doors, the rest were modern. It's Normal just outdated.

Lol I hated Brit in the 3rd season. But then it's understandable, she's growing up in a defective family spending time between her dad and mom, where it felt like her mom didn't really listen to her and was lecturing her to be a christian and dad only seeing her for shorts periods of time. Perfect writing.

For those facing this situation with your children. He opened the closet. He sees 5 sides, floor, left, right, back, and top. How often do you think she looks up and behind to see the 6th wall, above the door? I would install a shelf of about 2 inches above the INSIDE door frame, and then put a peg into the wall, and hang the gun up there, out of sight, by the trigger guard, and in easy reach.

I understand the complicated situation. That would have been an excellent opportunity to teach his daughter about them and how to respect them. In the US the guns are already out there and by not training yourself and your family your putting your life in the hands of another. At least with your own you have a chance to survive, get away, or avoid it completely cause your not an easy target. Just my opinion though. No meant to hurt or offend sorry if I have.

You can own guns legally in Australia, but you have to have a license and register your firearms. You also need to demonstrate a valid reason for owning a firearm, such as being a primary producer, hunter or sport shooter.
