I solder by hand every day of my life and generate an income making products that I solder together. Nothing wrong with how you do it. People could take notes. Only thing I'd do differently is have a fan blowing over your work space while using the iron. Well done Mr. Steele

I really enjoyed your build Mr.Steel, when I was young I flew the dual prop 🚁 then I got a drone and it flew away on me, I Decided I wasn't going to fly anymore until one day I got the DJI AIR 3, to bring some cinematic content to my channel, I found I liked sport mode best and Decided FPV was the way to go, long story short TINYHAWK 3 stuck in a tree, broke my AIR 3 trying to get it down, 3 more quads coming in the mail 😅 not sure what my first build will be but I certainly like watching these tutorials to have a little preparation. I just got a custom ApexDC HD and love it!! Mine is running a T-Motor F7 Pro FC with Hobbywing 60A ESC, with Tracer. Thing is a beast!

I been trying to get parts for an analog build for the past year haha I got motors props, camera and some odds and ends but some parts have been so hard to get it's crazy I loved my old apex build I built using your older video and it treated me amazing for my first quad and since it finally died I have been wanting to build a new version and I cant wait for electronics to be back to normal and available constantly.. I hate how everything is backordered or discontinued by the time I get to order them haha. Ethix is and has been my favorite gear always. I love everything you guys have put out haha everything I have that can be ethix, is ethix haha I even still use the mr steel edition taranis and keep it perfect looking haha.. missing flying badly though so hopefully parts get in stock quick ❤️🧡💛 just want to say I love what you do steele 😀 ❤️ your the entire reason I got into flying and haven't looked back and for the late comment I was going back through rewatching content just for fun :)

just as a heads up, would recommend still using steel on the inner frame-arm screws. In a crash, the head of an aluminum screw there came clean off, leaving the body inside the pressnut. Unable to get it out, I had to replace the whole arm even though no carbon was broken.

Have you considered heat shrink a solid colour around whole battery? Improves grip, looks bold, protects battery a touch, but does add a little weight. 80mm.

Hey Steele, great content as usual! I got your dc frame kit and want to do an analog build! The problem I have is the sma mount doesn’t fit where it should! I think I have the hd version so the back end is wider! Can you tell me if standard apex upper main and top plate is interchangeable with deadcat frame? Any other suggestions on mounting the unify pro securely? Thanks

I’m building it and I have a question: the capacitor- can it touch the frame ? It looks like you connected it in the front and bend it to the frame . I’m thinking of put it inside a shrink and than connect it to the ESC.

oh oh I didn't know this existed... I'm tempted to buy one to put 7inch arms in the back and 6 inch in the front : would it work with 6 inch props ? The idea is to get a DC frame to film ski, and the added flight time of a 6inch is very nice in winter...
