@@index7787 Yep, exactly my issue. I have no less than 10 kwads built. Everything from a 2 incher up to my 13 inch X-Class. Way too many, and enough spare parts in frames, vtx's, motors, fc's & esc's to build at least 5 more. So many batteries that they wind up going bad before I even get to really cycle through them. *Wife says I have a problem*

This is one of, if not the best build video I've seen in my 2.5 years in this hobby. It's not how he actually covered the build, it's all of the little pointers he gives that sets this one apart. A deep dive into button head screws, I-term ramp up, when to use aluminum vs. steel hardware, too much goodness to list. Great job bro, solid!

Again, just a funny observation: most you-tubers during that kind of 2h clip would make around 5432 cuts. Meanwhile watching Mr Steele's video is just pleasure as lack of those cuts creates more personal connection with the video tutor. You can feel Mr Steele knows his shit and knows how to "sell it". Respect.

This was literally a straight run through the only cuts a made were either I couldn’t find a nut or bolt within 5 seconds. Or I did something wrong lol. Or. I needed to Move the camera. I also cut between certain tasks to help with the editing process :). But I really wanted to show how long it takes to Build cause my old setups use to take 4-6 hours. Not It’s just over 2

Steele, I just have to say HUGE THANKS for this build guide! I used it for my first KISS/TBS setup- followed it pretty closely but made a 4s Apex Mr.S-Lite version. That was after endless chasing the perfect tune on Betaflight. Since then I have converted a slammed Alien, Built a 6S Mr.S-Alien and then a 6S Apex Mr.S-Lite. So now I have 4 quads on KISS V2, three of which will (this week be 6S quads) and can't even say how much I love how these fly. I also got a Tango 2 Pro and could not be happier with that either. So thanks again for renewing my quad infatuation- can't fly enough these days- just have to get in the learning to edit mode now... Keep doing what you do bro.

Just a heads up, the RC25G 2.5mm lense listed is too long to reach focus before bottoming out on the sensor in a Swift Mini 2. Since it looks like you're getting the 2.5mm lense already installed from the factory, I suspect Runcam is dropping in the Eagle's 2.5mm lense for you which is shorter than the RC25G, but has the same thread size.

Never had an issue with the RC25g. And I break them on occasion and replace them with the RC25g. And it works for my cams

@@MrSteeleFPV that's incredibly odd. I bought one to throw in my Swift Mini 2 and it was too long and bottomed out before it could focus. Had to buy the 2.5mm Eagle Pro replacement lense instead which works. I'll shoot you a DM on IG to see if we're talking about the same lense. 🤔

You need a 1/3 rc25G and it will work perfectly. The 1/2 is designed for a different size sensor. ✌🏼

221 people disliked it, maybe they need to go fly wallmart "drones" Sir Steele you are definitely not human. Love your flying and vibe sir. Feel free to come rip in South Africa anytime. Watching your flying is a treat in itself and all the videos are so helpful man, learned lots of small tips by just watching and seeing how and what you do. One day Ill be flying this apex or the next , For now its a little far up the tree for me to reach even with my ladder and swimming pool pole. Bless bro, Oh last praise, You are timeless sir.. Watching you from the start till now. and in between like these, KINGLEVEL. Bless Mr Steele

Thankss alottt mr stell.. You did a truly most honest build video ever i seen.. Most build video was to fast and we cannot follow most of that build tutorial.. And at the end, that quad we build had a very much problem.. I think want to build this quad as you teach in this video...

Hey Steele, So I built the complete apex already. Now when I try to upload the KISS RC40i firmware on the FC it completes it, but the issue is when I try to reconnect it to the usb it no longer recognizes the FC. So I have to push the boot loader button to load the “remote” options rc40o in order for the FC to be read again. Any ideas? I tried using multiple version of the KiSS FC GUI.
