FINCHES and QUAILS Released in the Improved Aviary

Finally, the aviary birds and quails have been released back into the outdoor aviary. 3 lady Gouldian finches and 2 Star finches. Hope they enjoy their new natural environment and show us some breeding behavior. More birds will follow. But due to the weather, they have to wait a couple of days.

@@MrAviary Yes we do! Had them years ago and just started back again and would like to build an aviary for them and love your set up! And now wondering if we can add Finch too. It might get too cold in the winter here though. Going to research. Thanks for sharing your set up and process!

The aviary looks great and the addition of the water feature is beautiful. Those bushes in the corner will be a good natural breeding area for the finches...I'm thinking the Cordon Bleus will nest there perhaps. Put a nesting box or basket inside there. Can't wait to see all the finches flying free. Thanks for the video and be safe.

Love the beautiful home you have created for your birds, especially the quail. I'm so saddened by the way so many people keep quail in boring cages with wire floors. That must be terrible for their feet, and nothing to challenge their natural curiosity to explore & forage. Can't wait to build ours something like yours soon!

The quails are so cute. They're the bird that tempts me most, but I have an OP Hunting Cat and I would be very worried for their safety. I really don't want to stress the little ones.

Mr. Aviary Sure I will !! I'll place it in my inner courtyard under this tree. The water source is also in production. I congratulate you, you have beautiful and very healthy birds. I can see that you love them very much. your channel is motivating and creative. I think I will need your recommendations in the process. Currently I have chickens, golden pheasants, kikiriqui chickens and quail. I've always liked birds, but it wasn't until I saw your channel that I knew what I wanted in my yard. Thank you for sharing your creativity and passion for birds.

That's interesting that the quails like the waterfall. My quails also like to paddle about in the shallow water.

one suggestion is to use coconut husk rather then soil for plants also suggestion for quail eggs is boil and shell and mash for the birds - they'll love the extra protein include nesting materials for golden finch sometimes you can buy premade nest otherwise you transformed a space and its working well Great job!
