I try to catch an double check myself so I’m not making the same mistakes or repeating the same patterns as she does I notice I do the same weight loss weight gain pattern but it’s because I look at my body and feel like there’s no progress I feel useless and I binge. Is there any way to get around this? When I’m in that mind space I either eat only ice because I feel like I don’t deserve food or I eat too much because I feel like it’s the only things that makes me feel better.

No you'll feel worst or won't care in the moment then wake up and hate the fatness in your body. Let your body have some of the foods you want. Don't completely get rid of them it will set you up for a binge. Try to enjoy your food. Also distract yourself with a new hobby, even better if it gets you out the house :). Also get a responsibility buddy someone you can go to if you are going to binge mine is my sister. I hope this helps you :D.

I would be so proud of myself for putting together a plan that I thought I could follow through with, and id talk excitedly about it and really believed in myself.... but I would always end up getting off track and I'd say but at least I did this or at least I did that etc. Then I got pregnant and had a baby and now I have a purpose and a distraction and true motivation to not give up. There's something besides myself dependent on me now so it is easy not to give into temptation. I also am way more aware of myself and can catch myself having those same thought patterns about making a baby schedule or a cleaning schedule etc, so now instead of planning to do things, I do my best to just do things. Basically what I'm trying to say is.... samesies.

Somehow, I got the hang of this when it comes to exercise. Can't seem to do it when it comes to portion control, but I have cleaned up my diet lately by going vegetarian (I was eating a ton of breaded processed meat. Also, cheese and desserts are literally my favorite things and I'm not eating them every day anymore. Also, my meat replacement is lentils or beans, not veggie/vegan breaded processed stuff, so I'm proud of that).

If a kitten wandered into my home, it'd be the best day ever and I'd have a new kitten. (Actually, this has almost happened to me. People drop a ton of cats around my area, and a female showed up once in a while, had kittens and would disappear, and she was gone before I could get her fixed and then disappeared again and sadly, I didn't see her again, but one day before she disappeared I went outside to find a little fuzzy white and gray/brown kitten on my porch, and that kitten is now my cat, lol).

She does want to be thin but she wants to be thin without the effort. She wants a get-thin-quick plan that doesn't involve working out or dieting.

As someone who has had struggles, she is in such denial it’s painful to watch. She is so warped, jaded and twisted in her thoughts she’s essentially a broken person, no good to anyone. Imagine getting paid to shoot dope on camera and people seeing and being entertained by how idiotic you are. Well this is the same exact thing here folks, overdosing on food just is a lot slower and more painful…

Right? I'm in recovery, too, and I learned that until you begin to heal the wounds of trauma and learning new skills to manage your emotions, you won't be able to stop using. Unfortunately, ALR isn't willing or ready to do that work. She's dumped every therapist who's challenged her views and she won't allow that. The other thing is that she'll never (so far) allow herself to be anything but a victim because that's where her power comes from, if she's not the victim then she'd need to take real accountability...and she won't do that, because then she won't be the hard done-by one.

Amberlynn wants to be thin but she wants to lose weight quickly without putting much effort into it. She simply lacks the discipline to keep a healthy lifestyle for longer than just a few weeks. As a recovering food addict, I have been like Amberlynn: making excuses, failing every diet after a few days, blaming everyone except myself, etc. It wasn't until I finally faced my core issues that caused my eating disorder, that I found the willpower to lose weight and keep going even when I lose motivation. I've been doing this for a year now and I'm still struggling with my craving for snacks sometimes.
