Michelle Parker was a defendant on People's Court. Her ex fiance was suing her for the price of the engagement ring. He was ex military IIRC and abusive. The ring got lost when they were at a hotel and something happened between them and fight broke out. She threw the ring at him and it went over the railing never to be seen again. She recalled all the awful things he would say to her during her case. The judge told them to stay away from each other. The day the episode aired Michelle Parker went missing. To this day she is still missing. Her ex probably had something to do with it. They had two kids together.

Probably my favorite case was the one where Bernal Ramirez was suing Georganne Cayo for $1600 over a loan she never repaid him. Georganne's defense was that he is a kook who never loaned her any money and that he was threatening her family. She showed the judge her police report she filed, in which, I kid you not, she admitted that he loaned her money. Needless to say, Judge Milian was beyond enraged that she perjured herself and awarded Ramirez all the money he was suing for.

About the sugar daddy situation…the woman’s behavior was pretty shady, but being shady isn’t a crime. The dude knew what he was in for; he gave her all that stuff willingly.

These always leave out the best episode in my opinion. The one where the Judge kicks a guy out of court but the guy does not leave fast enough so she tells Douglass to get him out. The guy warns the Judge that Douglas better not touch him, and she says: "I don't care if Douglass beats you to a pulp." It was awesome.

I had the opportunity to be in the audience for a taping of The People’s Court back in community college. I don’t remember what the cases were, but I got to see Judge Milian in action and that was awesome!

I've been watching The People's Court since I was a little kid. Judge Mathis and Judge Milian in my opinion, are the greatest TV judges, ever. I got upset when their shows got canceled. :'(

I remember one that apparently got scrubbed from the internet. An orthodox Jewish woman sent her wig in with her laundry to the dry cleaner and the drycleaner washed it and it was ruined. The thing is the woman was suing for a large amount of money because she said it was a custom made human hair wig and when judge Milian called the wig maker she described the wig as the one the woman was wearing and after inspecting the damaged wig judge Milian saw there was a Revlon tag on the inside and the Revlon wig was like $30 or something. The woman was trying to scam a free custom wig out of the dry cleaners.

I remember the No. 1 case. The plaintiff's daughter never did get straightened out. She's pretty much a jailbird. And defendant's wife also served some jail time for her part in the case.

my favorite case (& no one seems to mention it ever) there was a plantiff that signed a contract with invisible ink! and he admits in court. the whole place burst out laughing.

Red velvet cake is my absolute favorite and my husband has latched onto this favorite also! And we are picky about where we buy a s,ice cream- so,e is definitely better than others! And the rum cake sounds awful - not because I do not choose to drink but because it just sounds awful!!!

We are not stupid, but it also doesn’t taste like chocolate either (for some reason🤔🤔) - I am one of those probably strange women who doesn’t really care for most chocolate so I like this cake because it doesn’t taste like chocolate cake! #8 was my favorite. The plaintiff described the defendant as being 5'7" 180 lbs. and a huge 6'3" man walks in. I remember a case where a man was suing over a useless $25 gift card that the defendant refused to refund. Judge Milian says "It's not about the money, it's about the principle." Judge Milian orders the defendant to refund the $25 due to not explaining all the terms of the gift card when it was purchased.

Any one who thinks the plaintiff was silly who sued the wrong guy. I had a lawyer do a similar thing to me when I was a auto insurance claims adjuster. I had a lawyer call me upset his client was found 10% liable for an accident and thus only paid 90% for his damages and injuries. He called me, sent emails and finally filed a complaint with the state. The issue, this wasn't the right claim file. I called him back, emailed him, gave him the correct claim information and adjuster information. The correct adjuster called him. Both our supervisors called him. He still filed a state complaint against my claim and we had a hearing by the state. I didn't handle and still don't handle bodily injury claims so when the state rep was asking me a few basic questions it became obvious the lawyer despite being told several times this was not the correct claim file and I was not correct adjuster, filed and took the wrong claim and claim adjuster to the state.

Suing the wrong person is stupid, but the producers chose to drag that one all the way to airing, along with the person. There's zero chance this wasn't uncovered well before filming.

Not sure why y'all felt it was necessary to leave out a KEY detail about the model who was butchered by the nail salon. She was a HAND MODEL and was not only in pain from the actual injury, but also could not get work because of the VISIBLE damage to her hand.....

I'd love to see the entire case with the door-kicker. I'm not sure what the partial ruling in the plaintiff's favor was for, but if the judge didn't believe he kicked the door of the defendant's car as a part of her initial ruling, I applaud her seeing exactly how it went down when the guy stormed off and kicked the door. The guy was the best witness for the defense on that matter, and Judge Milian was quick to fix her ruling. If I was the plaintiff in the dog bite case, I'd be grinning like a loon once it came out the defendant was confusing this time her dog bit somebody with a different time. It's now on record the dog has bitten before, and the defendant is ill prepared for this case. There is no way I wouldn't enjoy watching the enemy get taken down by the judge.

Not knowing the details of the roads, it's hard to say, but in the UK there is no such thing as jaywalking and pedestrians crossing a side road have priority over vehicles entering it.
