Hi friends, happy Monday!
Today’s story is about Robert Moorman. Stories like this are always tough. I mean, Robert had a really hard life, but… he still killed someone. But the mother? Idk… something funky was going on there. What do you guys think?
Also, let me know in the comments who you want me to talk about next time. Hope you have a great rest of your week and I'll be seeing you very soon

Except many hotels that would qualify as motels under that description are called hotels in their name... So it's still not always clear. And seems to depend on where you're located. South Memphis, 3rd St, near where I'm from has a ton of motels that would fall under this but 40 minutes North into AR you might find nicer establishments that also meet that qualification & they're called hotels. 🤷

Ok true story. I used to work in a daycare, and one of the girls ( 4ish) was in foster care and the parents were trying to adopt her. This poor girl was so abused by her BiO parents. She would get terrified if she ever misbehaved, it was so sad. Anyways she was finally adopted, and the next day they came in and said we are to now to call her Bailey (not actually name, but obviously for privacy reasons) Anyways this little angel actually adapted to her new name easier than we did. Her new parents are amazing people, and they said for safety reasons they changed her name because BIO parents were very bad people. The adoptive parents couldn't have children so they adopted a few more kids. They actually ended up miraculously having a biological child of their own. This was over 20 years ago and I recently saw them, and this little angel has grown into such a beautiful sweet young lady. Anyways just wanted to share with you that yes, names can be changed. Lol. Btw her mom said she doesn't remember her first name.. she didn't remember me either.

Your "you can feel bad for someone who does bad things" gives similar vibes to "disagreement does not equal hate" and I'm 100% here for it. Just because you feel some type of way for someone (that's a heart thing, not a romance thing obvi) doesn't automatically mean you agree with or condone their actions; just like disagreeing with someone doesn't mean you hate them - and I love that someone said it.

As a kid that was adopted it’s actually very common for parents to change the kids name because a lot of the time the parents were a danger to them so it helps to keep their identity a secret and to not be able to be contacted by the parents again. Also a lot of the kids choose to have their name changed because legally they have to receive a new birth certificate so it is offered to every parent/child to do the name change and to receive all new identification paperwork :)

I totally think the adoptive mom was totally guilty. He “accidentally” shot at her when he was younger and she didn’t say why or what happened. I’m sure it was because she was molesting him and he was sick of it and then she manipulated him into saying it was an accident. The fact that he kidnapped a young child also is a red flag that something was going on with him. Happens too often where the abused become the abuser. I think he should’ve gotten life in prison because he is obviously unsafe but death is a bit much.

@@Amberelam97 they didn't say all, they said it happens too often, and I agree as a victim of child-on-child sa. I didn't become violent and I haven't continued the cycle, but kids don't have those thoughts out of nowhere. The kid that messed with me had probably been sa'd by an adult. And to this day, I still feel shame and guilt over what happened even though I hadn't even hit puberty and was far from being able to give consent.
@paidendenae
@paidendenae Жыл бұрын
@@zupergurkan your comment really struck me because I went through something similar as a child in which another older child assaulted me repeatedly. It also still affects me to this day, and I worry over the shame and guilt, especially for never saying anything. Now I feel like I can never tell anyone because it happened when I was 6-7. I'm now in my 20s, and I'm afraid of how it would be received by relatives because the kid was a family member, who is very much still a part of my life. It's crazy because I often wonder what had been done to him as a kid that even gave him the idea to do the things he did to me

If anyone is curious, Robert was granted a “compassionate furlough” to visit with Roberta. Usually furlough is only reserved for prisoners who are appearing in court, receiving medical treatment, or to attend a family members funeral which makes it weirder that he was able to get it 🤔

I got very nervous being on display for the entire duration of the funeral, and I got the giggles. I know it sounds really bad. But it hapoened. The girl next to me kept elbowing me and telling me to stop, because I was giving HER the giggles, and some people started to stare at us. Long story short, it was a very uncomfortable situation. Very. I just love you, Bailey. Please do BTK. Please?

I actually think that giving the bags to the lady, telling the pizza guy to dispose of cow guts and then ringing the prison guard saying he's bringing back bones for the dogs, that's not calculating its nuts. that is not someone thinking clearly because he's giving himself away over and over. that's low iq and almost probably off in la la land afterwards ,convinced himself they were cow guts and dog bones. definitely an affected brain from alcohol poisoning during pregnancy, so he never stood a chance. and I actually believe him that his mother took advantage of him. it was all a bit to weird.

Same, among other things. I do what I can, but I am always in pain. So, Bailey's videos and others like them (Mr. Ballen, anyone?) give me a great distraction when I can't get up/out because of my illnesses. I love the true crime channels, as well as the paranormal ones the most. Sometimes I like to watch fun stuff, too. Laughter definitely helps distract me. When I can't sleep, I put on one of the scary story channels and it really helps. Oh, Lani's comment about the carnivore diet may be true for some. I have a lot of digestive issues and meat is difficult for me to digest. Plus, I really have a hard time eating anything that had a face, so I'm vegetarian/part time vegan. (I have no issues with other people eating meat. I'm not a militant vegan or anything lol). I still have to be careful because some foods just trigger me. My "gut" doctor mentioned the FODMAP diet and I try to be mindful of things on that list, although there are some things that I just can't give up.

Just wanted to say that I've been a fan for awhile, but recently got laid-off and hit with covid, among other life struggles. Watching your videos really helped me through this time. I really appreciate the strength you show by being vulnerable. Not only do you get up every morning and survive, you work hard to put together stories that will engage and captivate us enough to help us through our days. (With many sacrifices I'm sure.) On top of that, I really appreciate how you speak to the camera like you are just gossiping with a friend over coffee. For those of us struggling with connections, you've done such a fantastic job creating a connection that welcomes us in with humour, humility, and facts. So much love and respect. This is so heartfelt. I hope she sees your comment. I agree with you, I like how she speaks as if she is just talking to a friend over coffee.Sometimes her videos are just what a person needs to get over a bad day. I also hope things get better for you. Much blessings

Very well written comment! You have expressed perfectly how we feel watching her videos. I feel this way about the MMMM videos but unfortunately not DH. DH just doesn't have the personal and friendly story telling vibe. They seem staged while these videos seem personal.

Love this comment! She speaks with an open heart and humility and we need more interactions like that with each other. I hope she covers a MMIW story next, sadly there are so many 💔 - Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Hunkpapa Lakota
