Senator Murphy delivered remarks on the U.S. Senate floor on the Workforce Mobility Act, legislation he introduced today to limit the use of non-compete agreements, which negatively impact American workers and stifle innovation.

We are so glad you brought up background checks before you can purchase a firearm. What is sad is that it already exist and you are well aware of it. NICS check is a must before anyone can purchase a firearm. The FBI oversees all transactions on doing background checks. You will never and will never see an AR15 in the military. Why? It is not a military firearm. It meets no requirement of the military. Shame on you for such misinformation

My comment and I hope Senator Chris Murphy takes it to heart, is that there is no value-proposition in the deck here and so Non-competes are truly truly the horizon we are all seeing with automating jobs where products and services are all soon coming in techno-automation.

@@BigWisco343 ..Contract law is delegated through State law, the bill is proposed at the Federal level and would not be enforced by the State so it would cost the Federal government money, more money in policing contracts and competition than the dollar figure in the deck and the numbers are baseless.

PLEASE DO NOT AGREE TO THESE EMPLOYERS NON-COMPETE AGREEMENTS!!!! THESE NON-COMPETE AGREEMENTS ARE THEIR NOTTTT TO PROTECT THE EMPLOYEES!!!!! JUST TO ENTRAP THE EMPLOYEES IF YOU WORK A BURGER SHOP AND THEY DON'T WANNA KEEP UP WITH INFLATION AND PAY YOU RIGHT AS AN EMPLOYEE RIGHT THEN YOU SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO GO ACROSS THE STREET AND GET ANOTHER JOB JUST LIKE IT!
