Wearing a unique shade of Bittersweet paint with a black top and interior, this W30 boasts a 455 V8, a TH 400 automatic trans, a bench seat, and column shift. Another cool car from the Brothers Collection.

The best looking cars were in the late 60s and early 70s. They were art in motion. Today they all look like jellybeans.

My 74 Monte Carlo Landau is the same color.. Need to get sprayed again tho.. Clear coat oxidizing

71' model year was not a Cutlass. 442 body code was still used. 72' it became a 442 option on a Cutlass or Cutlass Supreme. If this is a Cutlass vin this is a clone.

With the 455 and the W-30..350hp.. was a lot in 1971..I wrote in another comment I purchased the same exact car but a different color in 1977 with 45,000 original miles on it picked it up for $2,500 dollars had it for 2 years Sold it for $3,000.. Back in the 60s and 70s you could buy any used Motorhead car that you can think of and the most you would pay would be $3,000 tops..Sold my 1967 GTO with the 400 motor back in 1978 for $1,000 dollars now they want like $60,000 and up..

Great video ! Thanks V8TV . . . Luckily my '71 ""s"" was born gold. If the original color was bittersweet, I would change it to that metallic burnt orange on the C6 Vettes (that's a nice orange) ...that bittersweet color looks like someone smelled a diaper stain up close,then vomited into the diaper...that biological ooze congealed and they took it into work and said..."Hey lets put this color on a car and see if it catches on"..it didn't and that's why it's a rare color.
