Күн бұрынWelcome to the February 2023 Hua Hin Thailand train line construction drone flight video update.
Today's flights were flown by Geoff on a very cloudy day as he assumes the pilot in command role again as I'm now getting myself settled in Barcelona. This month we have some pedestrian ramp activity in the north, then new functional level crossings in the center, a new path for the existing trains under the flyover and through Nong Kae station and a lot of progress in Khao Takiab so be sure to check this one out.

They really need to do the infrastructure and new road works around the new station before it becomes operational otherwise chaos will ensue.......... BUT this is Thailand, so we will wait and see!

Good on you mate, thank´s for the monthly updates. On the 1.07.23 I`ll arrive in Hua Hin to retire there. Will I arrive at the new Train Station or with a rented car? Who is going to win?

I have this question myself! One viewer said it was due to a request by the government due to heavy traffic at that overpass but it does seem unneccessary to me.

Is there any first class train service available at the moment from bkk to hua hin?

I checked the train ticket web site, and it shows 10 passenger trains going from Krung Thep Aphiwat to Hua Hin through the day. Trains 31, 37, 83 and 85 have a 1st class coach, with a "Charter Room", upper or lower berths available. This is the new ticketing web site where you can check the schedule and book your tickets: www.dticket.railway.co.th/DTicketPublicWeb/home/Home Just be sure to select the 'Krung Thep Aphiwat' station, not Bangkok or Bang Sue Junction. I hope they fix this because that's going to confuse everyone who doesn't know the new real name of the station!

@@MikesTropicalTech Thank you so much! I have indeed made alot of mistakes by inputting 'Bang Sue' or 'Bangkok' as the starting point. May I kindly check If the 'Krung Thep Apiwat' Station is the name of the station located in Hua Lamphong? Thank you once again

@@angelinetan6114 No, Hua Lamphong is the 100 year old train station that is being replaced by Krung Thep Apiwat Station. Krung Thep Apiwat Station is located in northeast Bangkok and was briefly called Bang Sue Station but they changed the name shortly before opening last month. Hua Lamphong will be turned into a train museum shortly.
