You know what? I followed you since the opening. During the first +1,5 hs halting I put 3 sell orders with 60% of my stocks on 340, 360, 380. When it came back, BOOM, the sell was on 420 (or some). The other 40% I sold on 450. Your lessons on using strategy and discipline was vital for this move. Again, THANKS, Meir. PS: next time I would not trade on the rush (450) and wait for the calm, waiting for a new high.

The announcement was already scheduled for that day. It was a coin flip really. Some on the FDA panel did not recommend it but it got the green light anyway.

Meir, one particular question I have regarding Gap & Go. Are you looking a lot daily levels of the stock or premarket levels for your reversal point? Or are you only watching the markets and the price action?

Funny thing is I am pretty sure the news of BIIB Alzheimer's drug being approved came out long before it was halted. I recall hearing about it on CNBC around the time Scott said he was going to join you in that BIIB trade, but it didnt take off, it went down as a matter of fact. Made me think they were selling the news

Td ameritrade does you have to have the right speed for computer, the setting have to be changed on the platform and a fast internet. But it works. Dont let something like that stop you.

Ok, in this case, you know that the chance for the News in your direction was high. Otherwise it would have been a foolish trade. Even so it was a break or go decision for the company. In case of a negative decision, your loss would have been 50-100% of your profit. A strategy with winning in both directions would have been the less risky trade may be.

And it would be better if you would mention, that your trade was done with knowledge that a news and hold will come and your expectation let you open the trade before the news and you were willing to take the Risk against the Chance. The usual trader will not be able to „see“ this in your video as you are presenting this video. Especially as the stock came down sharply and you didn’t even think about closing this trade as you may be would usually do. You were be fine to wait until the decision/news, doesn’t matter what unrealized loss or profit your position was on and this is fine. But tell the folks that this was your plan and part of the strategy. The only thing you don’t know is why the stock came down and stopped where it stopped before it was going on hold. That’s what I am specialized in :o)
