when we go to sell we check prices on internet and then sell for a few pound less and can state to people we know how much they go for.. :-)

Fantastic video Dave, thoroughly enjoyed it. 37.30 when your talking to James, there’s a guy with a carpet under his arm video bombing 😂. Also enjoyed your chat with Zee and Bec, although the hour you were chatting you missed 10 bolos at least. The chat with James was one for the ages although better suited to a Bob the builder episode I would say 🙂. Superb mate 😘

pet peeve, Car boot traders telling me how much "said item" sells for on eBay! A, they are nearly always completely wrong and B, I don't care, go sell on eBay like the rest of us if you think it's easy.

Not investigated this myself but worth a mention. If you are going to scrap the DVD recorder rather than spares and repairs it might be worth stripping out the Hard Drive. Obs video takes a fair bit of space so drives are a reasonable capacity and hold some value in there own right. If not compatible with standard computer it might take a while to sell but only small so worth investigating on a rainy day

My car boots start on Wednesday 16th I'm literally going to try and wheel my trolley down and see what happens. Do you find it off putting if a seller keeps talking when you are thinking about buying an item.

I go at a leisurely pace really, so I don’t mind really. It can make me suspicious if they try to over sell an item though.

I use the eBay app. Search the item then filter the results by sold items.

How can you tell if the nikes are fake?

One of the simplest ways, is put the model number into a Google search and see if that style and colour comes up. The number on fakes is often made up, or for a different style or colour combination.
