Bekaotik you and I must have been living in two worlds. Can you give me an example where women marry for love? Women for centuries have been marrying love that’s related to wealth and potential. All women want provider security which in modern times is financial security. It’s because of modern day technology that’s made the world a small, things like this have been happening for centuries.

I remember my father not working for 21 months due to a layoff at his job. I don't ever remember my mother putting him down or threatening to leave him. Instead she became CPA certified and went to work to help feed and shelter their 5 children. From a stay at home mom to a hard working mom was no easy adjustment, but they stuck together and got through it. Now they're retired and still supporting each other after 47 years. Although every situation is different It's very challenging to find a woman that is willing to tough it out and go through a tough time with her husband, at least support him until he gets back on his feet!

When a woman feels unsecure and fears for herself and her kids financially, she will leave. Don't blame her as only there for the business. Women want to feel secure in their marriage. If he bullheaded went into working for himself, with no regards to the financial future of his family, then he was the irresponsible one. My husband pulled that and it put us into bankruptcy because he 'had to work for himself' and it's taken 10 years to come out of that. You bet I considered leaving multiple times.

So he tried a business, the business failed. He tried to be a life insurance agent, but it kept on throwing him further into debt... to the point that his credit cards are maxed out. I feel terrible for him, but I don't think his wife is the villain - she probably just couldn't handle the stress of failed venture after failed venture, debt collectors calling her every day, being unable to afford basic necessities like food and electricity... that's a lot of stress, not knowing whether your electricity is going to be turned off tomorrow. I don't think she's some sort of gold-digger. If she was, she would've left him a long time before this.

The primary value a man has in a relationship is to be a protector and provider. The primary value a woman has is to be a nurturing mother and a beautiful and faithful wife.
