For him to successfully sue you, he has to prove you had the intention/ mentality to hurt him, that being for a contract or hurt his career. Called a Tort or non criminal wrong doing. Which i don't think you have the "intention" to hurt him or breached a contract, but he has to prove it, or if there's a contract stating that you can't talk about. If he's just suing to sue In that case you can try and sue him back for all the emotional damage/ distress he's done to all of you.
