Don't even expect something else to pop up half way through that has nothing to do with the video at hand. Like, you know that popular Steven Universe bash rant that goes into a thirty minute dive into some Star Wars show? Like bro what even was the purpose? Anyways, yeah Event Matches are pretty sweet and I'll tell you why if you watch the video instead of reading the description!

What's really bizarre is that the Trophy stages are found nowhere else in the game and NOBODY seems to talk about them... I never played Melee (I grew up with Brawl), but despite years of hearing about Melee facts and tidbits from KZfaq and the Smash Community, this is the first time I've _ever_ heard about it.

I can't be the only one who HATED 'Time for a Checkup'. I feel like this was the most painful event and I've never had anyone agree with me.

I just replayed Melee to fulfill my childhood dream of getting all the trophies, and yeah, that event was one of the hardest challenges

All-Star Match 1-5 were some of my favorites :( It was nice seeing each character with a Home Stage properly selected, though I'll admit I much prefer the versions of these events in SSF2

I'm disappointed that events didn't return in ultimate, they're fun in those 3 games, so why not ultimate?

probably because spirit battles kinda did the same thing but event matches feltr more unique than spirit battles
