Oh I’m so glad that you found Nora Robert’s finally. I’ve been shouting this from the rooftops for years. If you love romantic suspense, Nora is your girl!! So many people think she’s an old author. But she’s amazing. Please read The Villa (my fave and I guarantee you won’t guess the twist!!), the collector, three fates, the liar and my fave trilogy is the stars of Mithras series. Just found Catherine Cowels recently and loved book 1! Thanks for all the great recs!

Never read Nora Roberts but I love Sandra Brown (she has many, but The Sting; Low Pressure; Ricochet; Best Kept Sectets) Linda Howard (Dying to Please is a good one, Cry No More,too)

Love everything romantic suspense by Nora Roberts. Sanctuary is the first I read and still one my faves by her. Also love Linda Howard, Sandra Brown, Laura Griffin and Karen Rose authors.

I LOVE romantic suspense!! 💕🖤💕 okay- now that Mia Sheridan book really interests me. I'm totally adding that to my list 🙊📚 I'm just so excited for July! I plan on finishing the tandem read for the Throne of Glass series, Tower of Dawn & Empire of Storms which I'm half way through- and so far I'm really loving! 😆💕 Then reading Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower by Krista and Becca Ritchie 🖤🖤 and then hopefully if I get enough time then I'll try to read Even if it Hurts by Sam Marino or check out the boys of Tommen series next! 🤗

My favorite Nora Roberts are The Obsession, Chasing Fire, The Search & The Witness. My other favorite for romantic suspense author is Kristen Ashley. I think I found her because of you actually 😆 but the Colorado Mountain Series by her is my favorite.

Birthright by Nora Roberts was one of my first books by hers. I read it years ago and still remember how amazing it was. Plus I think it’s a second chance romance which I believe you said you like too. 😊

You should definitely try The Night Tales series by Nora Roberts. There are 5 books in this series and I loved them all more or less.

Thanks for doing a video about romantic suspense. It's my favorite, and I hear about so few titles. Here is a list of some of my favorite authors, books, and series. Dangerous Waters/Dark Waters by Toni Anderson, Shadows (Black Raven series) by Stella Barcelona, Extreme Exposure (I-Team series) by Pamela Clare, Hail Mary by Hope Anika, The Unsung Hero (Troubleshooters series) by Suzanne Brockmann, Concrete Evidence (Evidence series) by Rachel Grant, Night Sins/Guilty as Sin by Tami Hoag, Rescue Me (Last Chance Rescue series) by Christy Reece, No Turning Back (Kathleen Turner series - warning - must read entire series - love triangle) by Tiffany Snow, Black Ice (Ice series) by Anne Stuart, and finally the master - Linda Howard. She can be hit or miss, but the hits are really good: Dream Man, Heart of Fire, After the Night, The Woman Left Behind, and many more. Suggested Nora Roberts: The Villa, Blue Smoke, High Noon, Whiskey Beach, Northern Lights, and my favorite, Chasing Fire (Many don't agree on this one).

Some of my favorite romantic suspense books are: Bad Moon Rising by Katherine Sutcliffe, A Man to Slay Dragons by Meagan McKinney (an all-time favorite), Kill and Tell by Linda Howard and Ricochet by Sandra Brown. I would say Nora Roberts, Linda Howard and Sandra Brown are my most favorite authors for romantic suspense....Sandra Brown in particular has a lot of really good ones.

If you like Nora Roberts, you should try her in death series as JD Robbs. It's a bit more crime and a little less romance than her other books, but it's really good. There are over 60 novels and novellas as she started in the mid 90s and still going strong.

I also liked the three sister island trilogy, which has a touch of supernatural. In this vein, the cousins O'Dwyer trilogy is also good and the Three Sisters Island trilogy. But my favorite is The circle trilogy. Fantastic! In the romance/crime/fantasy genre I suggest Jayne Castle who also writes histolical novels as Amanda Quick and contemporary novels as Jayne Ann Krentz. Most if not all her stories have a bit of crime solving in them.

An incredible mm romantic suspense with a serial 🔪 killer is the Seven of Spades series by Cordelia Kingsbridge. It's in KU, first book is Kill Game.
