Asking about Hulk's behavior, he seems to have more control over his rage when Banner voluntarily changes to Hulk, as opposed to when stress or anger forces him to change in which case he seems to have no control over himself.

About Hulk: Yep, damned scary. But we should also pity him. In some versions of the comics, TV shows, and pre MCU movies, Banner's story is he was abused as a child and as a result developed Dissociative Identity Disorder, which did not fully manifest until the gamma accident. Banner is the mousey, non-confrontational personality that has to be nice, hiding his pain. The Hulk is the angry abused child personality with the power (!) now to protect himself. Hulk hates Banner because of his "weak" character, not weak physical strength.

Tony's quirk about not being handed things is because the inspiration behind the character was Howard Hughes. His not wanting to be handed things was quirk that Hughes had. Another homage to the real life person is Tony's father is also named Howard

Nick Fury's reference of "...flying monkeys..." is from The Wizard of Oz, starring Judy Garland. That film was released in 1939. That's why Cap knew that reference, he probably saw the film since he lived in that era.

Natasha and Clint have always been my favorite Avengers, for several reasons. First of all, they're just ridiculously well trained humans. No serums, no suits, no divinity, no radiation, just humans who have become really REALLY good at some things. This is part of the reason I love Agents Coulson and Hill of S.H.I.E.L.D. too. Also, Tony's line about Phil Coulson, "His first name is Agent." always cracks me up. Tony, you're an ass, but you make me laugh. The other thing that I love about Clint and Nat is that they have such a close and ideal relationship, even if it is completely platonic. They're closer than friends, closer than family, even closer than significant others. That's just awesome and the fact that Renner and Johanssen play the roles so amazingly well just makes it seem so real. They're also complete characters. They get their moments to shine. We learn their stories and their history, like when Natasha told us that Agent Barton was sent to kill her, but he made a different call. For them being two "lesser" Avengers we learn a whole heck of a lot about them through the movie series, and that's even without them getting their own movies.

@@Drummer4President I agree with you. The only Black Widow movie we got was not good and not at a time when it would have made sense, i.e. after she's dead in the timeline. That was bullcrap and she deserved much better. And Clint got to play second lead in his own TV show, not even main lead. Even if they'd made, not solo movies but team up movies with the adventures of Clint and Nat, and there's PLENTY of source material that can be used for that, it could have been great. Both characters, and both actors, deserved more and better than they got.

Loki is power hungry and wants to rule the galaxy, he is the god of deception trickery. So his whole reason of playing along with thanos's plan in this movie is to over throw him and his plans so that he can be the ruler of earth, and everything else he can rule. The tesseract(space stone) is an essential part of any rulers needs. Hope that cleared it up:) great reaction btw!:)

A watershed moment in Kevin Feige's ongoing conquest of cinema. Seriously, has anyone ever even attempted anything on the scale of Feige's continuing triumph? It's ridiculous. Barely a questionable link in a chain that's now over 15 years old and more than 29 films long, not to mention the TV shows and other multimedia properties. The movies alone took in over $27 *billion* just at the box office, and that's such a long-running total that it needs to be adjusted for inflation *while it's still happening*. There have been less successful mid-range royal dynasties. If you wrote Feige as fiction, no-one would believe it.

Hey, Colette! "Avengers" was a game-changer and the proof of concept of Feige's grand plan! Team movies weren't anything new as we had already seen the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Mystery Men, Watchmen and the Incredibles in action by this point but a multi-franchise crossover event hadn't been done since the Universal horror cycle of the '40's and, certainly, not on a scale this immense! This movie is the very definition of a thrilling Hollywood blockbuster and it shattered every record! Who knew we were only being teed up for something even bigger? Marvel Comics assembled "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" in September 1963, the same month the X-Men debuted and two years after the Fantastic Four. Whereas the other groups were privately financed and comprised of members who were linked by blood or genes, the Avengers were a more motley crew subject to government oversight. Their headquarters was a mansion gifted to the team by Tony Stark located on 890 Fifth Avenue in New York City nestled on the eastern edge of Central Park complete with a butler named Jarvis to attend their needs. As in the movie, the team would travel around the globe in sleek compact planes called Quinjets. The five founding members were Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, Wasp and Hulk. The team found Captain America in the ice and thawed him out in the fourth issue. He was granted honorary founding status and has been with the group through almost every incarnation often leading as Chairman. As in the film, it was Loki's mischief that brought the heroes together whereupon they decided they should gather regularly to tackle any situation that was too much for any one them alone. Borrowing again from Marvel's alternate universe, the 1610 Ultimate Universe, the Chitauri are introduced as Loki's invasion force in the film since the Ultimate-equivalent of the Avengers united for the first time to battle that species. Credit goes to the Wasp's Janet van Dyne for coming up with their name, the Avengers. Over the years, the roster would rotate frequently as a diverse group of beings filled the ranks of the organization including humans, superhumans, mutants, inhumans, atlanteans, eternals, sorcerers, androids, aliens, demi-gods and deities. The team's battle cry was simple: "Avengers Assemble!" Joss Whedon was an ideal choice for director. Having cut his teeth on "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and "Firefly", he understood how to ground fantasy and sci-fi with clashing team dynamics. As a comic book enthusiast and writer, he was well-versed with the Marvel sandbox and this movie hums under his sure hand. As this is a team movie, the cast is a bunch of familiar faces with a couple of new additions and everybody gets their moment to shine. Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark aka Iron Man, Gwyneth Paltrow as Virginia 'Pepper' Potts, Paul Bettany as JARVIS and Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow carry over from the "Iron Man" films. Chris Hemsworth as Thor Odinson aka Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki Laufeyson aka Loki, Stellan Skarsgard as Dr. Erik Selvig and Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye carry over from "Thor". Chris Evans as Steve Rogers aka Captain America carries over from "The First Avenger". Samuel L. Jackson as Col. Nick Fury, Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson and Maximiliano Hernandez as Agent Jasper Sitwell return as the faces of SHIELD with new addition Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, right-hand woman to Fury. Mark Ruffalo replaces Edward Norton as Bruce Banner aka Hulk but Lou Ferrigno remains on hand as the voice of Hulk. Powers Boothe and Jenny Agutter play World Security Council members who carry over into "Agents of SHIELD" as Gideon Malick and "Winter Soldier" as Hawley, respectively. Whedon alum Alexis Denisof plays the Chitauri spokesman known as The Other in heavy prosthetics who appears again in "Guardians of the Galaxy". New York character actor Robert Clohessy has a funny bit as an NYPD Sergeant who questions Cap's credentials, old pro Harry Dean Stanton has a wry bit as a custodian who witnesses the Hulk's transformation and Ashley Johnson, the voice of Ellie in "The Last of Us", shows up as Beth, a grateful waitress. TRIVIA: 1. Harry Dean Stanton was famously killed by the xenomorph in "Alien" so, when he asks a naked Bruce Banner if he's an alien, it's a tongue-in-cheek nod to his former role. 2. RDJ ad-libbed a lot of dialogue including the faux-Shakespeare routine with Thor, the "Galaga" quip on the bridge, the shawarma comment when he's revived and the character nicknames like Legolas for Hawkeye. 3. Mark Ruffalo ad-libbed the roar that awakens Tony from unconsciousness after he falls back to Earth. 4. Chitauri is Zulu for 'serpent race from the sky'. 5. Jeremy Renner was trained by Olympic archers in the use of his bow. 6. Shawarma sales skyrocketed after this movie! EASTER EGGS: 1. Loki's body temperature registers as blue on the infrared monitor trained on his cell because of his Frost-Giant physiology. 2. Odin's pet ravens Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory) fly past Thor and Loki on the outcrop after Loki is taken from the Quinjet. 3. One of the trading cards in Coulson's collectible set features the cover of "Captain America" # 1 which illustrates Cap socking Hitler on the jaw. 4. The mind-controlling Chitauri scepter makes its first appearance in the saga and is the second alien artifact of power to affect our heroes after the space-spanning Tesseract. CAMEO: 1. Stan Lee appears in a cameo as a chess-playing senior citizen who expresses disbelief about superheroes being active in New York. END-CREDIT SCENES: 1. The Other reports the Chitauri defeat to Thanos who smiles at the prospect of 'courting death'. This is Thanos' first appearance in the saga. His smile is a reference to his comic counterpart who actually is in love with the personification of Death. 2. The exhausted team gorges themselves on shawarma post-battle having taken Tony up on his suggestion. The next chronological stop in the MCU is the ONE-SHOT featurette called "ITEM 47" about Chitauri tech falling into the wrong hands. It is found on the "Avengers" blu-ray or on DPlus. Don't forget to watch it or the AGENT CARTER ONE-SHOT which can be paired with "Captain America: The First Avenger" or be viewed as a coda to the "AGENT CARTER" series. If you want to see "AGENT CARTER", the first 8-episode season is EXCEPTIONAL, occurs before the One-Shot and can be seen after "Avengers" as an interlude between phases.

The Hulk is a rage machine, but like any of us, he can try to keep himself in control/non attacking. You can see though that when he is, he is still struggling to keep it down. He's bobbing. Previously on the hellicarrier he was under the influence of the spear. We saw everybody more on edge, the way they were fighting. Sure they were real feelings in the argument, but the spear's energy made them out of control, and all those emotions were amplified, making them fight. Similarly, the Hulk was not able to control himself at all, whereas he could struggle to on the ground away from the spear. Many people have not caught that the spear was amplifying their negative emotions/anger.

Each Avenger had something given to them that made them Avengers. Thor got Mjolnir and Cap got the Shield. Bruce got the ability to turn Hulk. Then the normal Avengers just have super abilities like Black Widow who went through years of training to get where she is now. Still a great scene to see. The Hulk is a personification of Banner’s rage unleashed and like other commentators pointed out, is a result of the abuse both he and his mother received as a child from an insane father, brought to the surface being exposed to heavy radiation. But the Hulk still is Banner. This is why the Hulk sees Tony as his buddy. Because Wheadon spent much of the second act developing a genuine friendship between the two. So when Hulk saw Tony falling from the sky, his first instinct was to save him.

You can Think of Hulk like a 4 year old. He's not evil, he's confused, angry and in a way scared. Hulk isn't aware of what Banner does in the same way Banner isn't aware of Hulks actions. The Hulk only comes out when Banner is in a State of extreme Danger, Anger or Fear. And carrying over those emotions, he suddenly finds himself in that situation. No preamble, no idea what led to this, he only exists in these extreme situations. Combine that with the mind of a small child and you get what you get: a temper tantrum. But a tantrum with his size and strength.

People are often confused as to why Iron Man removes his suit as he goes to confront Loki. It's because that suit is on the verge of failure after all the damage it took during the battle on the heli-carrier. Keeping it on would just impede Tony's planned Hail-Mary of deploying his prototype and really, really hoping it can skip beta-testing. The Carrier hides using a real prototype tech that's a type of what's called "active camouflage". Basically, you take a projector and a camera. The camera records what's behind you, and the projector projects it to viewers in front of you. As such, light essentially "bends" around you (or, more accurately, effectively passes through you), making you almost entirely invisible in the process. You become analogous to a perfectly-clean sheet of glass between the viewer looking for you and the objects behind you. We rely on the alteration of light to see, so if you don't alter light, you can't be seen. Similar tech used in "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" (opening scene in the Kremlin).

ABC had a tv show called 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' It takes place right after Agent Colson gets stabbed by Loki. We didnt loose Colson, just moved him to the tv.

I actually really like that scene where theyre all at each other's throats... because they're all being influenced by the scepter... theyre not themselves, but twisted forms of themselves before they learned their personal lessons from their own movies...

Loki's scepter containing something big inside that blue thing which i dont wanna spoil you'll know in your upcoming MCU movies even the Tesseract itself is...So when every Avengers arguing in the room thats not their doing its the Scepter which continuously playing with their minds to do so and it almost succeed to control them like Barton and Selvik unless the blast happened and it breaks the spell...

Love your reactions to the MCU movies! Great to see you’re a cosplayer as well. Love the energy and enthusiasm you bring. Not sure if you read all your viewer’s comments but in case you read this, wondering if you have a PO Box set up so fans of your channel can donate gifts as a token of their appreciation of you. Other KZfaq reactors do this as well and you can do unboxings and such as another way to grow your channel. If you do have a PO Box pls mention it in one of your videos. Look forward to more of your movie reactions! Thank you.

I'm not surprised to see Colette's eyes are "Loki-Charmed Blue", she's obviously smitten! Also, I'm pretty sure you'll have plenty of people crying for AoS and Daredevil (especially the latter, and rightly so), I'd like to see your reaction to episode 1 of AoS at least, though. It's a great intro!

You should check out some of the DC Comics films. Most of the recent ones are a mixed bag, but here's a good list of DC Productions you should watch and react to: - Batman! The Movie! (Adam West and Burt Ward) - Superman: The Movie (Christopher Reeve, BUT I recommend you watch the extended cut) - Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut (Official Sequel to Superman) - Batman 1989 (With Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson) - Batman Returns (Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito) - Batman Begins (The First of the Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan) - The Dark Knight - The Dark Knight Rises - Superman Returns (An unofficial sequel to Superman II by Bryan Singer, who also did four of the X-Men films) - Man of Steel (The First of DC's attempt to make a cinematic universe and it is highly underrated) - Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (BUT only the Ultimate Edition) - Zack Snyder's Justice League (Quite possibly the best Superhero team-up movie ever) Also, for more great Marvel experiences, check out the X-Men films. They may have the most convoluted timeline ever, but they're pretty awesome, especially in comparison to a lot of 'official' Marvel Cinematic Universe stuff.

Some other non-Marvel or DC mainstream movies to check out, also: - The Crow - Frank Miller's Sin City - Frank Miller's 300 - Hellboy (NOT the 2019 version!) - Hellboy II: The Golden Army - The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - The Kingsmen: The Secret Service - The Kingsmen: The Golden Circle - The King's Man - Wanted - Blade - Blade II - Blade: Trinity - V for Vendetta - Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut Also, some of the DC Animated Films are pretty great, too. I haven't watched a lot of them, but I hear good things about them.

Why is Loki being the villain? Two reasons - One, Thanos and those renegade Skrulls are using the Scepter to control HIM, and Two, Loki really DOESN'T want Thanos to get the Infinity Stones... so he needs a reason for Col. Fury to restart the Avengers Initiative despite the World Security Council.

Post credit trivia. The scene where they were eating was filmed after filming had wrapped. Chris Evans had a beard for a part in his next movie. That's why he was sitting with his face covered by his hand as he was leaning on it.

It's not always about being a hero or a villain. Some characters are too complex to be neither of those things. Some things are grey and should be taken as such.

Also too you got to remember that Loki grow up in Jötunheimr but he turns to be a frost giant from his realm. Marvel has a great way of sorry telling. I want to know the truth about the god of mischief. They need to start that. The making of Loki and the truth of him. There’s a series yea but would be to have a movie.
