When you're baking with powdered milk, consider mixing the powder well with the dry ingredients. Then adding the water to the wet ingredients, stir/ beat to mix as needed. It removes one step and a milk mixing container.

I have an old Betty Crocker cook book from the 1970s and it has a recipe for muffins that taste just like Red Lobsters cheese garlic muffins.I cook from the old cook book all the time.

If your book is from the early 1970's, chances are there is less salt and also sugar in the recipies.

It's the dumbest thing! We've spent 10's of thousands of dollars learning to to improve our channels and make good thumbnails and all I needed was a pic of Mike and everyone loves it! LOL
