I ran my first half marathon yesterday because of how you inspired me (the Ottawa race weekend one)!! It was really slow (even slower than I was hoping for) but I’m really proud of myself for doing it and I just wanted to say thank you for all of your inspiration!!!!

Cody!! the guy who is acting in baby reindeer is the guy that all of it actually happened to you can find the original footage of him on KZfaq. I can’t imagine the trauma that creating the entire show and acting in it brought back up for bro

i was a cross-country and track and field athlete until i was 18 and stopped because of depression. now i can barely run 100m without getting out of breath, and it makes me feel so low and frustrated. but I joined in on cody trains to try motivate myself to get back into it. its really hard and I miss how i used to be able to run with ease 😭 but I hope one day ill make progress
@nosir1440Ай бұрын
Sorta same. Used to play football and I use to do a couple events in track and field. This page motivated me to get back into fitness lol

Being a “former athlete” is a huge mental hurdle. It gets easier. You’ve got this.

Keep it up! I stopped running for 6+ years due to achilles injury and really struggle to get back into it. I’m still not as fit as back then or as I’d like but I did my first marathon last year and I’m gonna sign up for more. Just gotta keep moving forward both of us 💪 The worst was the beginning when my body remembered being fast but my body couldn’t keep up. 😅
@nosir1440Ай бұрын

Cody! This channel has inspired me to run again after a five year hiatus from 10 years of competitive running (and 10 years of injuries and an unhealthy relationship with my body and the sport). running my first half marathon in five years this summer. thanks for your positivity and teaching me how to be grateful for my body and all its able to do!

The main guy in baby reindeer is the guy it actually happened to, like he went through it himself and came up with the show himself and is “acting” in it which makes it even crazier, the texts and emails that she sends him are all the real messages he receives from her also 😮

I enjoy some maple syrup from time to time while ultra running as well. It's pretty typical in the mountains near me to get hail in the early afternoon, it's good training for when you get some on race day. Good luck with the taper tantrums, I feel like that's the hardest part of a training program, and good luck on your race!
