Bro please be patient and upload everything that you work on for the GS, there aren’t that many how to videos for the GS 460. Even if it’s something simple as changing the oil, changing a light bulb or even upgrades. It’ll give you plenty of content to upload.

Just picked up a 2008 Lexus GS460 that is immaculate and only 86,700 miles on it. I LOVE it! It was between a newer model or this and I easily snatched this one up. It came with all the papers and maintenance records. Great video btw! I look forward to seeing what you are doing with your car.

These are fairly common here, but that's because we get RHD models imported used from Japan - I guess they didn't make many in LHD. I've had mine for around a year now - was 72,000km when I bought it now 92,000km, though it was really well cared for by the Japanese owner before me (massive service history) Japanese models have the twin injection system, port plus direct injection, and have a bit more power than the LHD models, other that that I think they are much the same. It cost me around $14,000 NZD to buy, and I had to spend around $400NZD converting the center console system to English, and I've spent maybe another $700 flushing all the fluids, replacing plugs etc. (do all the work myself) - still have to replace the front rotors as they are a bit lipped, but the brakes are still smooth and powerful. They are super under-appreciated in my opinion - here everyone is into Holden Commodore V8's which even for something from as long ago as 2009, sell for many times what I spent on this - but this actually exceeds a 2009 SS V8 Commodore in performance, in every respect - better brakes, better handling, better acceleration, and of course vastly superior build quality, nicer to sit in etc.

Absolutely a premium vehicle ... I'm a proud owner of a GS 460. Black/Black. 40.000 One Owner. Apparently one of only 8 registered on the road UK . I done a bit of research of these vehicles . There was a recall on the 2008 model .. Valve spring issues. Phoned the Dealership to check .. luckily mine was replaced on warranty in 2009. Also Brake module issues .... Apart from this GS 460 ... Class . Only mods on mine ... Tanarbe medallion exhaust.. plus Borbet LX. Obviously kept all original parts ... But no plans to sell .... You picked a great car ....

Hey brotha! Cali checkin in. Got an ‘08 460, 134k, spark plugs replaced, tras fluid done, 1 qt/900mi, love her tho. Have the rev9 axleback before I chopped off those mufflers too 😂. No res no muffler and this engine is top notch. Vip motoZ sequential signal taillights also a must if you goin for the blacked out look. Tried to tune but the tuning device bricked my mf ecu so that was $1k+ down the drain 😂 enjoy this car shes a joy more than a year later

I've got a 2010- bought it 3 years ago from a Lexus dealer on the east coast with only 20k on it.

That stuff in the trunk is for the active stabilization... the car has no air suspension, it's just electronic controlled stiffnes of the suspension. If you've got issues with the stabis, try to recalibrate them by driving a couple of thousand miles, they are expensive as hell. Greetings from Germany by a GS460 owner.

Bro you have one with the APSS active suspension? That’s a super rare option I wouldn’t remove it. That’s like removing a Porsche with PDCC suspension. Keep it installed!

I don't think you should lower the car. You need that clearance. A lit of times people mess with the way the car was meant to drive cause more problems. I know a guy that messed with the suspension of his Dodge Challenger, and he is always working on it now. He made the back end a dually, and it has caused him so much trouble and he has dedicated his life to fixing the suspension. That time he will never get back. I literally have seen him work on that suspension for more than a year. I would say just keep it regular maintenance like things it already needs like oil changes. Very nice car!

I was thinking maybe first mod is put led dome lights and led rear dome lights and maybe led door lights

There is a little computer that you could connect to the car I don't know the name of it but I saw it on one of these car already with the same type of system it controls the ride height and you can ride the car at any height you want it's basically it works as a remote try to look it up on the clublexus.com

My GS430 has had those lights forever lmao it’s nothin
