A few years ago, some idiot guy tried to leak pics of me that he took without me knowing on his secret cameras, and when he revealed it to me he had written nasty names on the pics and threatened to expose them if I didn't sleep with him. I told my mum and we reported him to the police and threatened to turn up at his workplace with them he started me begging like the spineless coward he was. He deleted them quickly. Stupid useless fool that he was. I dealt with the silly fool and he never tried me again.

Of course that’s a huge risk, but does that mean that the people who share that shouldn’t be held accountable and dealt with? Going out drinking with your friends can put you at risk of being harassed or assaulted (especially as a woman), but would you ever tell someone in that situation that they should’ve been safer? And that they should’ve understood that there are some people that prey on drunk, vulnerable people so they should’ve made the sensible decision and just not gone out or just not drank? No. You’d blame the person who harassed or assaulted them. Because they should be able to put trust in people around them that nobody will take advantage in any way. Obviously that’s not reality, but their actions that held a risky outcome (which is a lot of our actions when it comes to things that we do for fun) shouldn’t be focused on. There are risks everywhere, in every situation and with every person that you put your trust into, but I don’t see how your point helps or supports anything? What does that add to the conversation of holding people accountable and respecting people’s traumas?

@@nayatarot777 It's our decision to take chances, risks etc, but be aware that there are sometimes no real consequences for those who may cause harm or exploit others. People should in fact hold themselves accountable for their actions, but that doesn't always happen. I'm just being real, even when people are held accountable does that change how they've affected you? So for me it's better to avoid certain situations, better to be safe than sorry, because some people never recover from bad experiences.

Sometimes people film you without your knowledge or permission. That happened to me years ago but I reported him to the police with my mum. They threatened to go to his workplace and he ended up deleting the photos and running off like a baby. Not every girl sends guys nudes.
