Thanks for the game Agad! I watched 100s of your videos and qd6 scandi video I watched as soon as it came out. I misscalculated the ending pawn game but great game nonetheless

Good Game Alex I thought Agad should’ve just backed his Queen up forcing you to capture it since you would be in Check than his pawn would stop the advance of your pawn

I second that. These games are at "our" level. We can understand most of the moves, and after game analysis shows us which moves were dubious / could be better. Also, I like thinking out loud...

These are excellent, educational, and inspiring to watch. After watching your own games the other day I finally plucked up the courage to actually play against a human, for pretty much the first time since I was in a chess club, at high school... this was... um, *counts fingers* 37! years ago... We had an inter-school competition in '86, and it was played in a big bright noisy echoey hall - but I am (undiagnosed back then) autistic and the whole environment was horrific for me... Until then I'd been undefeated at my own school, but I resigned my first game of that competition by accident (as I mistakenly thought i was in a mating net) and ran outside crying in a panic, not knowing or understanding what had just happened... the whole experience of "blundering a resignation" made me never play chess over a table again. So ... recently I'd been playing stockfish level 4 for a few weeks, and was winning about 1 in 6 games, but it wasn't until watching your own games, that I felt the confidence to once again play a human... So I clicked the 10+0 button ... and I lost one, and won one :)... putting me at a preliminary 1300? ... which I was quite pleased about as that was what I'd guessed I'd be about. After two games my heart felt like I'd just been playing some online first person shooter, adrenaline pounding. But it was an exciting experience more than a panicked one. So I'll do that again soon. I was playing Rapid 10+0, and both matches I had 5 minutes left on the clock, so I reckon with a bit more concentration I could creep up to 1600 or maybe more if I don't get lazy. Either way it'll be fun. A friend had asked me recently to visit a local chess club in a bar of an evening, and prior to this week I'd been too scared to think about it, but since watching your recent personal games, and getting stuck in finally myself, one of these weeks I might actually take him up on the offer. Anyway, I've thanked you monetarily before for all your videos, and next time I can spare I shall do that again, but in the meantime - thanks hugely for the inspiration, and for the eternally clear and consistent analyses.

Enjoy these games much. Got that the rook pawn grab was suboptimal. You had a winning position with all those connected pawns relative to his isolated pawns. But two queens running around makes for some calculation.

I think you might’ve been better off just backing your Queen up and forcing him to take yours it would’ve prevented the pawn from advancing as well like making him trade Queens on your terms your passed pawns would’ve been off and running Good Game Agadmator I enjoy listening to your calculations hopefully it helps me in my own games Enjoy your day as well
