It’s only needed in big mod packs with tons of mods and crafting recipes. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great mod and it’s definitely a must have for mods that add new recipes but it’s not that much of a must have.

Conquest Reforged is an pretty insane mod not just for medival Fans. It adds thousands of new blocks a really realistic and extremly beutifull Terrain Generation and many more things with survival Support in the Future. The buildings you can build with this mod are some of the best looking in whole minecraft.

I have 147 mods in my personal mod pack. (After many hours of tweaking and making sure everything works) I keep wondering why I did not have certain mods installed that you showed in your videos. Like for example I never even knew vanilla fix was a thing. (It’s a saviour of a mod) I’m sad KZfaq never recommended me to your channel earlier. Can’t believe I only found you in the last year or so. It would have saved me a hassle with looking certain mods that personally interested me or helped me. Thanks for making such great content, you are hands down the best mod reviewer when it comes to this game.

Some good lesser known ones: Weeping Angels Dead Man's Abyss AliensVsPredator Organic Creepers (Doesn't add new mobs but makes it so creepers grow from plants instead of spawning naturally, you have to try to control their numbers so that they don't infest your world. Very customizable if you find it too easy/hard)

Samuel Wikström I’ve been doing a soli play of thaumcraft 6 and the base mods needed to play it. (nothing else, just thaumcraft) and it had easily taken my heart over as an absolute pleasure to play. I don’t even know how much time I’ve spent on it in the last week alone, but my best guess would be in the neighborhood of 60-80 hours.

There was a mod called "flaxbeard steam power" which was pretty fun, currently it's under the name of "esteemed innovations" as the original mod hasnt been updated in years

1.12.2 is pretty much the most recent, as 1.13 forge is a little unstable and 1.14 is extremely unstable, so I have no idea what you mean with “highly outdated” smh I’m also in the biomesop support’s discord, the mod is still active. They’ll update it eventually I’m sure.

Yes it's very difficult to distinguish between the videos because 30% of the mods are the same. I find myself experiencing a lot of deja vu.

My favorite mod has always been Tinkers Construct. I feel like it keeps the vanilla ethos and I love over complicating things. It just makes everything tool related more fun.
