Excellent Mods! Was great to see all these wings make a brief appearance since the big move. Your mods on the Talon GT are right inline with design elements from the Zohd Alpha Strike, as if it was meant to be.

This bottle is a lot milder than the first one I had. Not so much smoke and burning insulation

Your mods and mine are very similar Andrew. The Lipo acess on the Mini Talon is terrible for such a great plane. I may try cutting mine open now Ive seen yours...🤔😳😏🇬🇧

Have you tried servo fairings? For aero and landing protection especially since it appears you don't like landing gear. Would be nice to watch an efficiency test video.

It's fun and practical to make things your own by mod's . I haven't built a drone for a long time now . DJI has a great engineering department they have thought out their drones pretty good . But there are things that could improve even them . Great video You have a blessed one my friend .

Hi Andrew, my Talon GT has finally flown, very pleasant to fly and can stay in the air for quite some time. I only have some problems landing, I broke a propeller and the part of the wing you show in the video. A friend printed me a new nose and some details that will be used to insert the DJI O3 properly. Have always loved ya upgrades Andrew... The GT now looks like a V2.. How much Weight Can I put in the nose..

@Andrew - enjoyed this - more please on other mods you have done. One question - where you have moved motors and servos rearwards, the COG must have changed. How did you correct this? Extra weights in the nose or a bigger heavier battery maybe?

Usually just move the battery forward but what ever is required to rebalance

Great video, many thanks. But how did you manage to keep the motor angles the same as the original, or was it not that important? And on the Bixler types, did you need to change the motor angle to have it point through the CG? Thanks again

@@0012dominic The motor is usually moving back along the same thrust line so the thrust angle doesn't change. Unless I'm actually moving it above the thrust line, then I will add spacers under the bottom mount bolts to adjust the angle slightly.

@Andrew Newton, what is the best fpv plane? im thinking of buying a Volantex Ranger 2400 but dont know if i can put a flight controller in the right place... i also have the hobbyking 1.5m dlg, what electronics do you recommend?(crashed mine once becouse i replaced the reciever, not having enough voltage.)

Plenty of space and access in the 2400. Would be a great long range FPV model. Look at my videos on the 2400 and DLG servos
