in his video, he kept repeating things like, "this is not how I want to be remembered", "this isn't how I want to leave a legacy", and "they know I've done good things." it's honestly not the best way to apologize when all you keep thinking/talking about is how everything's affecting you and you only. I understand that it might be hard to take care of the damage control, but even then, just reassuring yourself on video, without even explaining yourself to the people you hurt, or even acknowledging the people you hurt the most, isn't really an apology. he fucked up, and he knows it. he just doesn't want to take much of the blame for it, it seems.

All I will say is that I was a fan of his.. and a big fan of his interviews from 2011 to really early 2014. Then.. what has happened the past 2 years happened and I think I lost interest the second Johnny showed up in his first couple videos. I loved "Bryan stars interviews" and I actually admired and respected Bryan at the time because he was his own individual. I will say I'm beyond disappointed with how everything occurred in these past 2 years and will forever send my middle fingers to My Digital Escape and everything it was. (Not all the people but the channel as a whole) and I realize a lot of people disliked him to begin with but it sucks seeing someone you respect and admire to a degree kind of go backwards in the maturity and aging process. I understand your point of view though, John and I think this was a really good video.

Of course bryan has done some horrible things, but I really feel the hate is going too far now. I'm not 100% if the apology is real or not, but the only thing we can do is wait and see. Continuing to hate on him is just overkill. Of course you can say "he had this coming he deserves all the hate!!!" which yes he was a horrible person. I was the same way all of you are. But after seeing that I felt really bad for him, and no it's not because I kiss his ass or whatever you want to say. It's because I'm human and have empathy for other people. I'm choosing to trust him because I really feel he deserves another chance. Everyone deserves a second chance. If he really is sorry, he will change and become a better person. This takes time though. Of course this is just my opinion. I'm sure all of you will continue to hate on him and even hate on me for trying to be a good person. You truly don't know what's inside his head. You don't know how sorry he may or may not be. I feel he truly is sorry because I feel there is a good side to him. Even damon has said he knows there's a good side to Bryan. Like I've said, we just need to wait and see. I will now prepare for the hate comments coming my way for feeling empathy for bryan.

This was so satisfying to watch, especially after the snake disabled comments, and I couldn't leave my own lovely opinions below. This is one of the *worst* apology videos I've ever seen, on the same level as RiceGum and Sam Pepper, etc. It was so vague and so clearly made just to do damage control. Even though it didn't help at all. He didn't own up to *anything*. He just rambled for 4 minutes. The only thing I got from the video was that he looks even more like a rat when he is on the verge of tears.
