Garland is not being truthful. He sounds narriccisst like. Instead of taking accountability to having at least a t.v. like most back in those days where just like I knew Tupac's every move from his schooling to state to state locations via the news, magazines, and Tupac's music; he could have found him. He didn't care to. Soon as he thought Tupac was about to past he found him immediately anticipating his death for a payout. Garland could've even said, both Afeni & I played a part. She raised him to the best of her ability while I was absent. I do not want money because I never contributed financially, all I want is a relationship with my son. He didn't say nothing near this because money is the ONLY thing Garland wants and still wants.

Mr Garland said in the interview he never looked for Tupac, but he wished he had. He said in the interview he stopped going to see Tupac when the black panther party broke up. Mr Garland do not seem like he made an effort to be in Tupac's life. He never paid child support. Never had scheduled visits. You don't find that odd?
@wisdom4498
@wisdom4498 Жыл бұрын
@@nikeshamorrow9444 Very odd because Garland is lying about everything. From what I gather, Garland & Afeni messed around and she got pregnant. Garland was with another woman and had other kids. He didn't care about the one he had with Afeni. Afeni was more involved in the Black Panthers Party and had started being with Mutulu after who supported her and Tupac. Garland never looked for Tupac even though he knew he was his son up until Pac was hospitalized and near death. Garland then and only then easily found Tupac to collect money for being a sperm donor deadbeat.

Ohh yeah mine turned 17, haven't seen her in 10yrs and her mom wouldn't let me see her. She has relocated and only one person I know that can help find her. Again seen her would mean I'll to meet her mom and incidentally altercations,in which I promised my self never to allow my daughter to see me and her mom in a heat. Never pick my calls for years,not allowing her to speak to me until last Christmas when she picked up my call and gave it to her man foe regression. Well I stopped calling, until when she decided to text me last week just to ask me HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW ITS BEEN 10 YRS TOU HAVEN'T SEEN YOUR DAUGHTER 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I asked my self why is she even laughing and disrespecting me with her man...I feel bro Billy and everyone going through this and these women they go to people close playing victims. But deep inside they're murderers and they enjoy tormenting and afflicting. ( Atleast one time my daughter used her mom's phone to call my sister in a low voice saying mama doesn't want me to speak to dad) she found out and hell poor girl got whooped ( she's is pain,am in agony) we men to through hell and surrounded by uncertified psychologist who don't feel shyt. Very soon I'll to do it but any means necessary, against selfish madousa that I made a huge mistake knowing her. Just because one didn't get me for herself, shouldn't be a reason hurting the innocent- Afeni whatever just as evil as she could get,we all gonna die but unnecessary been a killer...

Nobody in my family fuck with my Grandfather because it’s his Fault why my Grandmother died. At the same time the Society back then was hard on Black people to a point where it’s unbelievable that they had to deal with that type of stuff. I Blame PAC’s Mom. I'm not going to take Mr.Garlands interview at face value for several OBVIOUS reasons ... however all the characters in this story that could vouch or dispute his claims are now DECEASED .. I'm not saying the man is sitting here telling bold face lies . I'm saying I've seen him in NUMEROUS INTERVIEWS over the last 25 years and this is the FIRST time I've ever heard him display this information in an emotional tone ... in fact one interview in particular all I remember him talking about was when he went to the hospital to see Pac after he was shot .. when he saw his son's penis size .. that's what made him know that was his son . He was even cracking jokes about it .. Fast forward until today .. now Afeni died in 2016 .. almost 8 years ago .. which in my opinion would have solidified a foundational reason for him to speak out .. but he didn't .. I believe the only reason he's doing this NOW .. is because Tupacs stepfather Mutulu Shakur ( who adopted pac and gave him his last name ) was just released from prison last year and currently resides in California after being locked up since 1981 .. and I heard everybody from everywhere are bidding .. to get him FIRST on an EXPLOSIVE tell all .. meaning if he accepts I'm sure he will be paid at least 1 million .. Billy is trying to get ahead of that situation .. in my opinion to clear the air .. nothing else makes sense .. 📍

Seeing his pops is crazy for me. I mean, you can see that he had some very solid parents that played a part in the real struggle of black people and the party itself. On the other hand they had big time struggles within their own lives. That shit shines through Tupac and his own struggles. Its reflected in his music within a range of songs, from “brendas gotta baby” to “picture me rollin” and everything in between. Its a reason why he is my favorite. His shit was all over the place. It was the struggles and stories of the human being.

The Black Panther party was being hunted by the government at this time. Everyone who was a part of it had to move in secrecy. We can say he could've still tried harder to see his son but Ms. Afeni was probably also trying not to be found. I'm not making any excuses for him but I can understand what the circumstances might have been as to why they lost contact with each other for so long.

Bullshit. Afeni moved because she was a crackhead and she wanted to keep Pac away from Billy. Afeni was using Pac for money etc to live off.

Afeni was in a relation with mutulu Shakur who went even harder when he joined the BLM ,they robbed banks killing cops... I believe it was a hard time for the Shakur they went underground.

If what these commenters are saying is true about Garland, knowing he himself said Afeni brought Tupac to his house and he turned them away because he was married; added with him not being in his life until he was near passing. Why didn't Garland come around to support and build a relationship with Tupac only, considering he never financially contributed to caring for him or paying child support? Instead he sued the mother who was present for money he felt he was entitled to. Make it make sense.

@@wisdom4498 What if the answer to all of these questions and more is that Ms. Afeni took Tupac and left, and didn't want Billy Garland to find or have contact with his son because he didn't want to be with her? That would make a lot of sense as to why he never paid child support. Maybe she never put him on because then she would've had to legally acknowledge him as Tupac's father, which she never did even after Tupac died. That would explain why she told Tupac that "Legs" and also another man was his father instead of Billy Garland. That wouldn't make Ms. Afeni a bad mother but what if she was just your average young, scorned, and bitter woman? Or maybe she just moved in secrecy because the government was hunting down members of The Black Panther Party.

@@judon4908 Garland is not being truthful.

I had a similar experience. My parents were 17 when I was born. When my mom told my dad she was pregnant she found out that my father had got another woman pregnant and promised to marry her. My mom was upset and told him he'd never see me or be in my life. It wasn't until I was 30 years old that I discovered that the man that raised me wasn't my biological father. My biological family reached out to me and I found out that everyone on that side of the family knew about me even though I didn't know about them. Everyone took me in and made me feel like family. My mother knows I've met my father but its such a sensitive subject that I can never discuss it with her or let her know that I have a relationship with that side of my family. Women too often make those kind of decisions without looking long term how their decisions will affect that child later in life

Instability and youth were the reason's I got for not having my father in my life. Honestly that really is not acceptable. My mother my have broken up with my father but I didn't. To this day I am still very hurt by that fact. I appreciate that she was able to hold it down and raise me. But again I did not choose to relinquish my relationship with my father and now he's dead and I can not make up for time loss.
