That's hilarious... I never even thought about that. 😂 What I didn't show you was the half eaten hawk in the middle of the road that the little one wanted and the big one wanted to get away from. Lol The hawk was pretty grotesque and this is a G rated channel. 😂

LOL funny that is my thought on indy authors. All our favorite authors had to start as a new author at some point so these people might just turn out to be the next big thing. You have a great week as well... oh and that Achilles book... the cover is amazing... the texture is like nothing I've seen/felt before...

As a teenager the store where I would buy my Louis L'amour books, the other Western books for sale were by Max Brand. I never bought any MB books because I was reading only L.L books . at that time. The puppies seem to be behaving. And seem pretty happy. Looking forward to the May wrap up. -James.

Very interesting plans for June! Congratulations on getting a new release to review. I still need to do my June TBR video because.....wait for it....I ordered "The Sisters Brothers" from ThriftBooks and I'm waiting for it to be delivered before I make the video. I want to read it in June as a "June on the Range" selection. LOL! So there's a little preview for you - based on your recommendation. Your channel is really coming along...you seem to be "finding your voice" and that's really the fun of it! Fun to watch, as well!

I can't wait to get your take on it now. :) If you don't like it we will just blame Austin for picking it. LOL I'm excited that something I said influenced someone.. Now I'm nervous. LOL I do feel my channel if finally taking some kind of shape... I think I'm happy with how I'm doing things right now... I'm struggling to get to tags tho... gotta figure those out next. You inspired me to look for information on Max Brand. He wrote books from 1919 through 1944. There were too many for me to take time to count. Gunman's Reckoning is also called Donnegan and was published in 1921. He had nine manuscripts published in 1921 alone!

I'm not going to lie there is a part of me that wishes you still read fiction just once in awhile. LOL I liked some of your older videos with you and your buddy walking and discussing fantasy books... Loved your latest video with the walk around your property... True wilderness scenery for sure... I kept waiting to see a bear or a moose in the back ground. LOL there was a fallen tree that made me think something was there... LOL

Keep trying. Lol I'd say I win one every 200 tries. Lol that would be a rough guess. I will probably enter 20 plus everyday. Doesn't the Achilles book look and feel amazing? I'm not sure what that cover is made of but I love this book by site and touch... Hope the story is half as good. I also love that it quotes the Bible about the Nepheline... Can't wait to read this one.
