Either way, you can do a simple google search and psychology will confirm that not contacting someone will cause them to miss you if you were significant to them in any way. It also is pretty obvious that chasing them indicates that you need them instead of it being mutual.

Yes losing someone you love is hard!! But in all honesty mine did me a favor I was 350 pounds and on a road to self destruction!! We have been broken up for almost a year now! No contact at all! Yes I still have my bad days missing her thinking of her but I started working on myself I’m down to 269 pounds! To everyone who is new to this you got this I promise it does get easier! I am too... After 2 month in grief and sadness I now realize I have different options. In the darkest hours you just don't see all the cards on your hand. After what she did to me I don't see a way of getting back together. It's still kinda sad but I learnt to accept - it was so tough. She made me feel that way. Whenever I look back I now see her making me feel faulty, less attractive and most of all: insecure! How could I ever want that back? She never took over any responsibility for what she sad or did. Best is to move on quick! I sometimes cry, yes, but these are now tears for having wasted so much time trying to understand and love someone who simply didn't want me in her life anymore. Goodbye Ex!

My situation is weird and complicated. He is being forced to stay away from me by his father (hes almost 18, still living at home) and I can't really talk to him. His dad is controlling his feelings for him right now, he's not allowed to text or call me. I am still in NC and it's been a month and I decided I'll reach out another month from now since our situation is a bit unique and we were forced apart by a third party. I also need something back from him that belongs to me. I'm keeping it casual and doing the best I can not to pounce and bother him because silence is power! I've actually been working on myself a lot and doing better without him, but I still love and want to be with him.

I absolutely love this ! Turned all my emotions into myself! Got my dream job/career, moved into an amazing new place, bought a new car, working out helps a ton(boosts confidence), learned to cook, saving a ton, and going back to school to acquire additional certificates/degrees. Best thing you can do is give it time, and in that time love yourself and work on yourself, you will eventually get to a point where it does not bother you!!! P.S. Coming back after over 8 months, just know I was in that dark hole with no idea of what to do for a month straight. I Cried myself to sleep every night for the first month, but after 8 months of working on myself I can promise you it does get better!!

My current ex said to me in her previous message which I’ve added this a few times, she said we could remain friends but for now she wants to be single for a bit to look after her elderly dad who has pressure sores and her mum is becoming poorly, I told her in my final communication that I couldn’t just remain friends as I only want a relationship with you as I know my worth, my value and I’m irreplaceable, and when we get back into work that I’ll just be professional around you so there will be no kissing or cuddling. Her final communication with me was , it’s my loss that you cannot remain friends and it’s a decision that i’m going to have to live with for the rest of my life, I read what she had to say and I went straight into NC which was 9 days ago , not sure how it’s going to be when we finally get back into work and we get to see each other again..

I asked him if he really wanted me to be with another man, he said he wouldn’t like to see me with someone else but if I’m happy then he’ll be happy for me. That’s how I knew it was over for good. An ex wanting you with someone else is a huge sign that they’ll never try to get you back.

That isn’t true at all. I want my ex back, it’s been four years, and yet what I want more than my own selfish desire for her to be in my life is for her to have what she wants in her life, even if that’s someone else, of course it would hurt but I would support it if it meant she was happy and felt loved. I’d like it to be me because I can see and trust my love and intentions, but as uncomfortable as it makes me to imagine her with someone else that’s only because I want her to be loved properly. I’d accept the life of misery, I already have.

Great advice. I am in a different position. I was obsessed because of trauma bonding with a narcissist who had gone no contact on me longer ago than I am prepared to say. I was the one that was messaging but watching your videos and losing a colleague to coronavirus helped me to come to the conclusion that today is a good day for a fresh start. No more messaging. I like Coach Lee's no bullshit style of saying things. "They broke up with you because they've lost an emotional attraction to you, they feel they are better than you and can do better than you." I was like, shit, Lee isn't sugar coating this stuff. Lee said your ex had been thinking or may have been even planning this break up a long time. Today I spent the day just thinking back and realized it was 8 months ago my ex began to pull away from me. We lost our intimacy, we began to lose our connection. I realized I have taken my ex for granted and forgot to develop our love. Hard to think about. I am angry she didn't sit me down and tell me, "Hey, you need to change or I am walking out" Rather, she just up and walked out. Its been 5 days and I have been doing the NC and listening to Lee tell it like it is. I feel stronger already. We both took each other for granted. Don't do it if you still have that person in your life.

I believe he was cheating, lying, and using me, but I found out too late. I was in love with him and I did want to get married. I listened to your videos non stop after I left him, then I found out he rebounded and married her 2 weeks later. WOW! After listening to two of your videos on Narcissism, I put 2 and 2 together. I have decided to break up with my fiancee. He has been good but now he has really changed. He has been harassing and accusing me for mistakes I didn't know. Then he immediately stopped contacting me. I went through pain and loneliness. I was sending messages to him pleading with him not to leave me but he gave me a deaf ear He even blocked my number, then unblocked my number. I thank you. You are my coach. Since I stared to listen to these videos it really helped me understand 😌 my break up, separation with my ex. There are Some days i really feel like giving up on my ex . Its been 2 moths now and she has stopped contacting me from 2 weeks. And deep inside i know there is still some hope left. But as i look back i see those positive and happy memories we shared together since last 5+ years and all that boosts my hopes and makes me aware of not giving up on her. Whenever i feel low this channel is the one i reach out. 😇😇. You are doing a great work.

I am so so so happy I ran across coach Lee! I was in a relationship for 2.5 years, my bf said we needed to take a break. Of course I was blindsided by this but I just said ok and left. BTW, we lived separately I would stay with him on weekends because of work. Anyway, I immediately listen to you speak of No Contact Rule and put it in motion. By the end of the first week he was texting asking about my family. I replied nicely but that's it back to no contact until he let's me know he wants back in the relationship. Thank u Coach Lee.

Yay another video you’re the best coach lee! 11 days into nc and she keeps talking to me and that she likes how we are no label nice and slow.she keeps complimenting me and saying how much she misses me. I never reach out and make her initiate I’m excited for us working back to be a couple !

Nice Corey! I had to go into NC knowing she would call and text non stop but sometimes putting your foot down when you aren’t seeing changes is for the best! I know it’s not practical to ignore your ex but no contact really works if it’s applied with the “giving us space to work on ourselves” talk before ignoring them for the specific time!

Secret No.1 = When they broke up with you, they will most likely not 100% sure. (Confused) Secret No.2 = They want you to hang on or hold on to them Secret No.3 = They will probably test the water Secret No.4 = You reaching out, helps them Secret No.5 = They still thinks about you Secret No.6 = Secret No.7 = They still miss you I dont know about the 6th secret tho.....

Thanks for every video, they are all really helpful. I've been in NC for a month (and I don't have a problem with that) ever since the breakup. I've watched tons of breakup coaches and got decent advice but coach Lee actually is more on the nail. i don't know if it's just me but he seems more specific and has touched way more that is like my current situation than anyone else. I feel like with his information I can navigate it all more appropriately.

Worst thing to do is message your ex that broke up w you because honestly they just won’t care so you gotta stay strong and make them miss you by moving on. I know it’s hard because I have been in this position and I made the mistake of messaging and I wish I hadn’t because it made me realise how much she didn’t care after but a long three months after I can finally say I’m happy and I don’t want her back anymore.

Your videos are so helpful. Just listening to your voice helps. My husband of 21 years walked out at the beginning of the month. He's out of state for work right now and won't be back until the end of the month. I haven't contacted him and it's been so hard. I know I'm going to have to see him when he gets back to sort through the business of this separation and I just hope I can keep it together.

@@DatMusicGuyZ Thank goodness. So there really is hope.. My ex and I have been in a serious long-term, long distance relationship for around 2 years. We were friends for 1 year before that. But unfortunately I think the distance, and her mental health finally got to her. It's a long story but basically she left me for another guy, and I didn't really know about it. Two months later he broke up with her, they made up, had more sex, then he broke up with her again a week later (oddly enough for the same reason she gave me, in which he said he needs to "work on himself.") I thought it was all basically over and she was going to work on "us" again, her mental health, and to stay single to focus on herself, but I found out again (this time by pure accident) that she is with another guy only two weeks later. I don't really blame her because I'm also dating again, but it still caught me off guard. Especially because the guy (and even the guy previously) are nothing really like me, so I suspect it is definitely a rebound. With that all said though I started no contact a week before Christmas, and so far she's sent me some mixed signals (a Christmas greeting, and asking me if I still wanted to watch an anime we planned to watch together when it comes out). I found out after I said yes, so I ended up asking her if she was dating anyone (cause I don't wanna watch it with her if she's with someone, but also to see what she would say). But I was met with no response, and a block on Facebook. She still seems to follow me on everywhere else though. Not sure if my number is blocked because I didn't say anything else after that, but I'm definitely not looking to find out.. Anyway, I'm just hoping she will one day realize what she let go of. I gave her my world, and I was genuinely ready to marry this girl eventually. We had plans to move in together, once we could close the distance. October was supposed to be the month we were going to meet for the first time, but sadly covid ruined those plans and we ultimately ended up in this situation.. I lost my best friend. She hurt me tons over what she did, but I still want her back. Our relationship was always really good before all of this, and it was never toxic. We genuinely had a good relationship.. It seemed like a huge waste that she would throw that all away, but I guess I do understand it. We'll need to have a talk, maybe therapy, and for her to give me a genuine apology. But until then, I guess I need to do my best to move on and keep up this no contact thing.. I just wonder how much longer it'll be before I hear from her again, or if our relationship/friendship is even repairable again. I can't imagine my life without her.. Even if we do happen to end up with different people. It's been since the end of September that this all started (when she met the first guy), and this honestly still feels like a dream. I honestly never thought I'd be in this situation. Hopefully over time I could at least get more closure, by seeing her in person one of these days. Probably won't be for awhile, but it's something I'd definitely like to do eventually. Sorry that was longer than intended, but I'm glad to see that you're hearing back from them. No contact has worked for me in the past, but there's still so much uncertainty.. I don't wanna lose such a good thing permanently. I believe my ex is just confused, and hurting a lot mentally. I don't believe she hurt me intentionally. The stress of school, graduation, careers, family, financial concerns, getting her hopes up about seeing me/me in general, and her mental health are all likely what's been on her mind. I could say that I hate her for everything that happened, but truthfully I could probably always forgive her. She just needs to fix this, and I hope she does. I guess I'll see what happens.

Great stuff ! You are helping me right now. Me and my wife are somewhat separated right now. In the beginning I was doing all the things you said not to do and now I see it would have been catastrophic to my marriage. I have watched all or almost all of your videos. My wife is doing some things that I do not understand and putting me in a unique situation not covered in the videos I have watched. But I am applying your advice the best I can with the cards I am being dealt. You are a blessing to me. So far you have saved me from myself.

Update! Every time I post a story on Facebook, he sees it. But, I didn’t made a deal or anything out of it because, like coach lee has always said, that doesn’t mean anything. He actually has to reach out first. And today, he commented on my story. It was pretty casual, nothing about our relationship or not even asking how I was doing. Just something about my Facebook story. I did reply to him. But it was even more casual and of course I didn’t ask anything about him. He said something back (although not really necessary) and I just replied with a thanks. And that was all. Even if he doesn’t reach out to me anymore and nothing comes out of it, I see this as a little victory. My ego is a little bit bump up. Lol!

My wife packed her stuff up 1 year ago and left the house , I have never heard from her ever since she left .tried to call her for 2 months straight and she would not pick up .
