@@naiko6700 just want to say that I broke up with an ex and got into a relationship (rebound) very quickly after. I felt guilty the whole time. I reached out to that ex around a year after we broke up when things were going downhill in my life and all the guilt reached the surface. By that time he had truly moved on and I was the one who was feeling needy and pathetic. It can happen at any time as long as you are both still living. I say this so that you know your break up with this person is affecting them whether you see it or not. My advice is don’t wait around and count the months as if the day you broke up has so much value in your life. Go out and live your life and enjoy yourself, don’t waste any more time

First I would like to say when I wrote that comment i was in so much pain, confusion, panic mode, but after 11 months later I'm so glad that I experienced my first heart break.I'll explain to you briefly why. I lost myself, family and friends, i stopped taking care of myself, i forgot that i had hobbies and so on. The first two months after my break up it sucked, I was confused and did not know why i got dumped, I'm a successful professor and teaching at a private college, and I do not want to toot my horn but money is not a problem. I immediately shipped all her stuff back to her that way she does not contact me nor i wanted to hear from her. I deleted her contact, pictures and everything else that reminded me of her. Next, I cleaned my diet, hit the gym, started to do Brazilian jiu jitsu (white belt), start learning classical guitar, spent time with family and friends and more. Were there nights that I thought about her, absolutely. But, time heals everything. Right now, I'm in right frame of mind, I promised myself to not start another relationship unless I heal myself, and I'm doing a great job at it. Sorry to write this long paragraph, if you are struggling brother trust me, it will pass take it from me. Please, please, please don't beat yourself down, I promise you it will pass but you have to put in the work. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask. I'll end this boring paragraph with a very interesting buddhist quote "When an egg hatches from outside life is lost, but when an egg hatches from the inside life is born". Find yourself first.

Same exact thing happened to me! Told me how much she loved me many times - Told me how she hated her ex husband for emotionally abusing her - Then got back together with the ex she hated! I got the feeling she is the one with emotional problems! Her ex left her again - because she contacted me again. I am jealous of her ex, because he can play around with other woman knowing he has a piece of ass anytime he wants it. I was loyal to her and treated her with respect and loyal only to her. I guess that's not good enough. And woman wonder why guys cheat. They seem to prefer the Bad boys over the Good nice guys. I had opportunities to cheat on her but didn't. She had no problem throwing me away like a piece of trash. Lifes lessons can be very cruel. I am wiser and stronger now from my experience. The hurt is real, but time does hel and make you better. The friend told me she asked her how im doing and if she knows anything about me right now so she’s a little bit of curious. Don’t worry. Things will go the way they need to be, so we will move on or get back with our ex. But remember to key is not to reconcile by all means but to develop strong and healthy relationship, maybe they will come back to their senses.

@@ChaoticCobras We did. It was the culmination of many new things after being at the same university for a few years. Long distance isn't easy nor is the drastic life changes of entering the work force. She still had some maturity issues to sort out because in her eyes, me not reaching out after her asking for time meant I didn't want her back. Once I helped her see how that really doesn't actually make sense, she apologized for putting me in that state of limbo.

You were in an intense rebound relationship and it's likely that he is not over his ex and has possibly gone back to her. It's the beginning of the end when they start becoming distant and start saying they are confused and need space. I know this because i recently got dumped after being in a rebound relationship for four months. The first two and a half months were intense passion and connection and that slowly faded in her, within the remaining one and half months leading up to the break up. It sucks! I miss my ex. Been in no contact just over two weeks now, but i'm having doubts that i'll ever hear from her again. Best just to give up hope, take the time to reflect, learn from the experience and focus on bettering yourself and moving on.
