In todays episode, we explored an abandoned mansion with everything left behind. The owners went to jail a few years back and left everything inside. It was completely frozen in time without any graffiti or vandalism, only natural decay. Come along as we explore this gem.

I think they left in the late 80s or early 90s before CDs, judging by the VHS tapes and TV, that is a very old house, the narrow stairs, and doorways,it was updated with bathrooms, and the outside, brick or stone, just my opinion, that iron furniture costs a fortune,I was surprised that the Disney like colors were all through the house!! a little strange,I would love to find out about the parents, how they made their fortune, what they went to jail for, fascinating, you did a great job!I just saw this video and subscribed, thank you ♥️

@@silenthillsexplorations where I live there was a couple, him a Dr. his wife his nurse, / a receptionist. They got in trouble for over using drugs on patients, some died. They went to trial and was found guilty. Feds came in and took over the house and the children and aunt had to leave that very minute and take nothing with them. I mean nothing, no clothes, no school trophies, ect….NOTHING. It’s about twenty years later and it’s finally been sold by the government. The guy that bought it offered to let the kids come in and get their personal items. Very sad mess. The children were adopted as infants from a foreign country, they were middle school age when this happened. They are still in prison the Dr. And wife. The house they had was a mansion. Pool indoors, real palm trees growing indoors, tiki hut bar area at the pool, elevator ect…

Makes me wonder if they were arrested for hideous use of color in their paint choices. LOL Take beautiful old mantles and paint them primary red and blue. A grass green room and a bright red bannister ...must have been criminally insane while spinning a loaded color wheel. Ha Ha.

Actually it looks like in the master bedroom that there was a fire in the ceiling it looks burnt and all that mess is from the firefighters putting the fire out. That would explain why so much is here because smoke damage & water damage from the 2nd floor would render everything un salvageable

I would guess that it was probably abandoned in the late 80s or early to mid 90s based upon the decor and some of the items within the house. The winterizing label that said 2016 was surprising to me because I firmly believe that the house was in great disrepair by 2016, so I would doubt that it was winterized at that time, but I could be completely wrong about that. 🤷‍♀️ I was trying to keep count of how many bedrooms and bathrooms there were in total but I lost track and I didn't want to watch the entire video again. I can tell you it’s not California because this video is four week old and it does not snow in California like this and it’s not in the south it’s in the north and it’s not the Turpin's house. Paint doesn’t decay that bad or wood doesn’t rot in weeks or months this house has been abandon for years and by the decay it has gone through years of snow and rain and moisture and vandalizing, if this was in the south or even in a place that has low humidity it would of not decay this bad. It has a 1800 or early 1900 feel, the house looks kinda like a colonial Massachusetts house.

Maybe the mansion was from 1930's up .Toilet were built ....the flushable ones 1902 and washers and driers 1935, I look for information. So looking at the furnitures too and stuff animals ,maybe lates 30's.It looks it was a beautiful house once inside ,because even now those furnitures ,wallpapers are amazing.Millioners don,t care leaving mansions behind and start a new life in other place. Regardless this people went to jail,i found documentals of millionaires leaving mansions abandoned and moving to new ones in different places.

Look in the drawers to see if they even let the children take any of their clothes , as they probably had to go live with relatives if the the department of social services didn't take themand no family member didn't come try and get them, so sad , after all that time why none of the kids came back to get a lot of their own things ?

Something is really off. The rooms and house appear to be really decayed while lots of things like books and clothes look untouched by time. Kinda looks staged.

No, I saw another tour of this house a couple of years ago, before the ceilings had caved in and before there was so much vandalism. People do stage scenes there to take photos, but the house is really abandoned.

There was not a double murder, or any murder in the house lol. It was a completely different crime.
