I wish they'd made the expansion somewhere between lv 9-12. Currently that feels like a big dead space for questing to me where there isn't much I WANT to do. There is Ravenloft which doesn't quite bridge the leveling gap between Isle of Dread and Gianthold on its own. But by lv 13, most experienced players who will buy expansions already have their lv 15 gear sets from Sharn. Now gear from this expansion has to go head to head with equipment that reliably gets players from lv 15-29 where we then sometimes upgrade to the legendary versions of what we've worn for the last 14 levels. Ravenloft gear is ok, but there is so much more room for this new expansion to make us question if we're removing our IoD gear, picking up our RL, or using this new equipment. Lv 13 content is where I feel the content ramps up until 20. Gianthold, Devil's Gambit, Archons, Necro 4, Sharn, Wheloon, Meridia, LoD and Eveningstar. But from the end of IoD to the start of Lordsmarch it often feels to me like the only thing I have any desire to do is Ravenloft, and that is usually because it is the only thing people want to exp train through

The only thing I want is the +1 Racial tome, and the rest is totally meh. I am just going to buy that, and unlock the class. I will buy the basic edition on sale eventually. I don't like the Eldritch Knight is being replaced, ughh.

I feel like the pricing is kinda crazy. The wild magic sorcerer is the big draw of the expansion, and to make it cost literally double, the amount of the regular expansion is utterly insane.

Never had a problem tripping. You're coming up against a bug like Storm Hammer had where it did nothing once you got it above a certain caster level (or something.) i.e. maybe your DC was too high or something.

I am frustrated trying to purchase this. I tried the DDO forums but an error won't let me log in. In game support crashes when I try to use it. Am I the only one who can't purchase this?

DDO is excellent game, but you should warn players from other countries than US, especially from Europe, that DDO synchronization between client and server is so bad, that sometimes playing it is impossible, especially for ranged characters (including magicians), because most of their shots hits the void before serwer will figure out, that player locked this enemy/mob and not the other one, barrel, box or that nice tree in the background.

Hey Strim, just to clarify if i buy the expansion now i'll get the races immediately that i can TR into right away? I was under the impression you only get the cosmetics and such but quests and races aren't available until actual launch day...
