Neutralise the Threat can mean different things. If the target is considered deadly and unpredictable, then a quick shot to the head would be acceptable. If the target is armed but not firing and moving closer to you then it would be the best to go for the legs or torso.

Very powerful, but someone backing further and further away doesn't look like someone intending to shoot you. I have trouble believing that someone with Garrett’s conscience would shoot such a person. If she had just started backing away from Ramon, that would have made it much more believable. Still, if that's my only complaint (and it is), great job!
@MsMinoula
@MsMinoula 2 жыл бұрын
What if something changed, she heard a truck, or saw the other officer, in a matter of seconds she could have got defensive and in fact shoot. I'm not saying this is what Garrett was thinking just that these are the reasons book says "shoot to kill".

I am seeing so much racism and hate on these comments. But please, just for a moment? Imagine this. Imagine that YOU go to work as usual and when you come home your house has gone. Your entire STREET has gone. Your friends are all gone. Your family is gone. The shops are gone. You have your wallet and your phone. You search for your family, for friends, for anyone. You can't find them. There's no food. People are so desperate for food, so hungry, that they are eating dogs and cats and grass. You leave your home behind, because it is no longer recognisable as your home. You leave everything that you ever knew, because it doesn't exist any more. You reach the coast and you give all your money to someone who says they can get you out of the country. You are packed onto an overcrowded tiny little riverboat. During the journey people fall into the sea and drown. CHILDREN fall into the sea, and drown. It's terrifying. The whole thing has been terrifying, but finally you reach dry land. You step off the boat, traumatised and terrified, having lost everything you ever knew, but willing to start again. You worked as a teacher, or a doctor, or a librarian, or a nurse, or a cleaner, or whatever it is that YOU do. Imagine that after all that? You find out that ignorant people in this new country don't want you. They tell themselves that it is 'your fault'. Even though you are just A NORMAL PERSON whose only 'crime' is that you lived in a country that became a war zone. Even though you would far rather be in your home country, living in your house, surrounded by your family, visiting your friends, and going to work tomorrow. But you can't do that because your country is chaos, your house is bombed flat, your family is dead, and your job has gone for all the same reasons. IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU. Or to me. Or to any of us. If it does? Let's hope that we are met with more compassion than is being shown here. Shame on you if you would turn these people away. Shame on you.

Danny Darkense umm, different issue. And while I usually agree with being hospitable to suffering people, border patrol IS hospitable to immigrants crossing the border, despite what this video will make you believe. They provide food and blankets to help the immigrants recover from their trek across the desert. The problem is not with those who deal with illegal immigrants, it's with lawmakers who can't see the effects of their own intolerance. Please, do not take this video seriously. Border patrol agents do not act like this.

I'm pretty sure in this scenario the mom is allowed to stay in the U.S . A border guard would definitely know this .

Cerbyo oh I know but let's rewind to the moment where she just gives birth . Then get rid of the part where she magically recovers from giving birth in the time span of a few moments to hit our protagonist with a rock with enough strength to knock him out.

@@MA-he7nm Oh, she didn't hit him with anything. I think he passed out because the experience was so intense and it reminded him of when his own son was born.

I wish I could break into someone’s house and they would take care of me for the rest of my life. It would be even better if I could give birth to half a dozen kids and they’d be taken care of too. Please don’t chase me out though, that’s racist.

now imagine, you being in a situation where your old home is continuing to kill you slowly and all you can do is run somewhere else far away from home

Prince Vin The people who cross the borders are going through some sort of crisis. They are in mortal danger, they have no opportunity. This is not a matter of breaking into a house, this is a matter of being in a desperate situation in search of an outlet. Immigrants are stimulants for the economy,(simply look into statistics for it) they are innovators (take up the mass majority of people who get pattents each year), and they bring major ideas to the table by simply being cultural different (after all, the U.S. would not have hospitals, or potato chips if otherwise! : )) Let's not forget america was founded on immigrants..though they were genocidal..they were immigrants. Escaping for political reasons, far less severe. It's hypocritical of an ideology for you to have. or perhaps it's a race thing? : )

Fix your own home? If your neighbor neglects his home and then his home falls apart, and he refuses to fix it then tries to move into yours that would be pretty irritating.

John Ecstasy Honey, there seems to be an awful lot you don't know. For one, immigrants do not own countries, and do not take part in running them. They are for the most part political slaves. Nicaragua, for instance, is under a dictatorship, with a heavily brainwashed millitary that is highly and actively against revolutionists and anyone who speaks out gets arrested. Changing a country so drastically will take years and years of war and endangerment and mortality. 1) you cannot make major contribution when you are *dead* 2) The political atmosphere, war, etc, are all major hinderance to human potential and contributions. A society develops from contributions and innovations. The U.S. is working on making seawater purifiable. And whose to blame?? Those dang immigrants back at it again coming to our country and increasing some sort of resource to help and potentially save millions of lives of people without access to water whom in turn can act out their potential!! Damn immigrants! 3) i got side tracked. Anyhow. Historically revolutions often do not change countries much at all. France for instance, had a revolution, and wemt right back to being dictated by some asshole named napoleon. 4) By this logic we should still be living in britian. But guess what? 5) pls do sweaty, id love to know how i could change an entire country in a short enough time within my lifespan to put it in a well enough financial position where i can invent an inexpensive environmentally safe plastic and globally produce it id love to hear all about it honty
