what do you if blood is coming from the top or bottom of the ETD after you have finished wrapping it? do you take it off and try again?

I would say no since this is not QuikClot. You may remove whatever clot was formed. I'd apply another compressed gauze and ETD.

Add another dressing. Don’t remove it.

Why is this needed? It isn't for packing and can't be used as the final compression. Why not leave it out?

So bogus. Severe bleeding without ANY blood. People need to see the real thing. Otherwise they will totally freak out when it actually happens.
