As an empath, it’s shocking to me that there are people on the planet who don’t believe empathy exists…shocking, but the more educated I become, I see that it’s true. Most people are living in the everyday fog, with a minimal level of empathy or awareness. Learning that most people do not have my best interests at heart was a revelation. I’m glad I learned it at 45-better late than never.

I can see thru the mask , my narcisist olderst brother has 4 flying monkey brothers, me and my sister are outcasts, im alone but happily married with children and wonderfull friends and a church comunity.

I was a young boy under five when the abuse started. My father Albert Pluim, would fly off the handle especially when his friend Ray Steele would show up. I realize that my father and my two brothers are and were narcissists. My sister, I have no idea and I hope that I never see my siblings again. A very toxic family. My mother was the only empath other than myself that I know of. God help me if those monsters ever try to contact me. The police will be involved if that happens. I have the law on my side.

My daughters mother is now on a hoover trip and playing her narcissistic mortification show...her smoke show has only worked for a short period this time trying to catch other fish in the ocean...what a zero bore she is, and no change whatsoever..I know her mask games in and out, and are almost vomiting when I see her fake face and disguised facade ..I only care for my daughter being caught up in the narc mothers maskarade and slimy mud hole...I wish the empty mother will one day say to me I can come and pick up my daughter 10.000 km away from me because her mother is getting tired of my daughter or has spent all my daughters money in the bank...a new supply guy will not last long because the mothers share value on the stock market is rapidly declining and will continue to shrink into more chaos, stupidity, loneliness, paranoia, indifference and finally ending up in a vast black hole....I use the small word no with a big importance to avoid abusive people. Hi Andrew, I could not agree more. Here in France we unfortunately have the same kind of freaks. I managed to get rid of mine few weeks ago in a way he did not expect before going no contact. As a yoga teacher (he took advantage of this by the way) I have my own ressources 😊 Now I am recovering from this toxic relation thanks to really good ayurvedic massage I had (abhyanga marma). It allowed me to get rid of all this toxicity in my body and in my mind. It is vital to break this negative energetical bond. My body and mind weren't free despite the no contact. During the massage, I have been told that my muladhara and anahata (root and heart) chakras were completely unbalanced. This was confirming me all the bad I felt physically and emotionally. The narc is so evil. But since this wonderful massage I feel so much better and relieved. With all the yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation and this massage I feel now more at peace. The bond has broke. Hope this can help some to find the strenght to move forward and go in grace in this beautiful life. "Narcissism as a personality trait doesn't require a cure or treatment" -that's true of "community narcissists" people you might describe as "arrogant' or self-centred" We aren't talking about those people here. We're talking about people who have *an agenda* -for you before you meet them. It's typified by quick sex (to get you hooked) -then the emotional abuse begins (put-downs, name-calling, flaking, faking and taking) that's followed/sometimes concomitant with the smear campaign -which is designed to isolate you socially. To use a metaphor -the *community narcissist* is the guy who cuts you off on the freeway -without indicating. *The Pathological Narcissist* is the guy/girl who identifies you/your home/car/kids/bank account and then *infiltrates to destroy*

I went through all of this with my mother and daughter. I am an Intuative empath. I wasn't the golden child, but dealt with it cognitively. My daughter I put up with a lot for the sake of my suffering grandkids.- they lived with me. Essentially, I brought them up and they know this behaviour is bad and not their fault. I taught them to love themselves, and be kind to others. I will break this cycle. Thank you Andrew. Light and love will always win out.

The worst part for me after walking away is completely understanding what happened while nursing a broken heart. It’s taking so long to heal and it’s a lonely journey. I have to pretend I’m okay most of the time because family and friends don’t understand

I would have to say they lose attention and resources. Namely someone to pin it on. I said it 2 years ago, "The most valuable resource on Earth IS attention." The Interwebs is a perfect example of external validation. It baffles me how many people are externally validated, when they could just look inside and be happy. I have dated women that did not have a personality, they mimicked mine, my interests, my mannerism, all the things that make me an individual. The last one, I lost myself in the relationship, later to discover, once again humility and an undignified soul searching. That crap took 8 years to heal from. I am still an asshole, no doubt, but fairness and generousity comes first, not gonna budge on that. We can heal these aged children whose parents failed them out of fear of shame or judgement. And there it is, it is parenting that failed them. Andrew I thank you for helping folks understand this crazyness, Could you please cover the parents role in developing or continuing this awful character disorder? Thank you sir, you are appreciated and meant for what you are doing.

We are Judged Relentlessly by People Who Think We Are Weak for being an Empath

We were three children raised by a narcissistic father and an enabling mother. We were all treated like shit by the narcissist.

😮I never understood and never met a NARCISSIST before. 2 years of a roller coaster ride. I'm so happy he dumped me. I can breathe. ALL he has left left is hovering with words fooling himself that I still care. Him dumping me was a blessing

Here's what I experienced: 1) Love Bombing - She completely had my trust and love. She said we were Partners - She said we would spend our lives together. I was committed 100% 2) She started to distance (7 months into the Relationship) 3) Super Distance: Started listening to her Children that said she could do better. 4) Discarded: 1 month later - She came over and she told me she could not do the relationship any more 5) ME Heartbroken and shattered for 6 months at least 6) Started understanding and still wanted her back 7) (90 days later) Burned all the shite that she left in my house 7) Started hating her (and that felt much better) 8) 18 months later I am educated (Andrew - GREAT JOB) 9) Looking for another Woman that will treat me like I treat her. Ex can kiss both sides of my azz. And yes.... she took alot of my finances with vacations - meals - Presents etc...etc... And YES ..... She is AGING !!!! And aging BADLY. You get what you Play for.

At my mothers funeral i saw how disgusting those monsters truly are. It took every bone in my body not to embarass my sister,her husband,and others but the Lord told me my child no. When i got back home the Lord told me forgive them and move on from them my child.

Two years ago when I found out my second wife cheated I got my eyes opened to the fact that narcissists exist and thanks to Andrew and the community I now have a far better understanding of what took place during our five years together. I've also come to realize that my first wife has heavily narcissistic traits. I took her through med school to become a physician and supported our lifestyle with hobbies and travel during that time. Once she was finished I didn't amount to anything, knew nothing and did nothing right. Looking back I think I understand her behavior better and realize that she has no old friends, always complains and picks on her sister, her mother, her ex brother in law and her step mother. She's constantly in some form of conflict and I'm now grateful for not having to deal with her since our son's are now legal adults.

The part on the being a friend to my daughter, never set boundaries, not letting me parent her is spot on. Was waiting for this be said. Thanks for this helping me heal. Saw my daughter half hour in the last 2 years. It’s all getting clearer. Tnx !

I don’t know what is worse from a narcissist, the silence treatment or the non stop talking. My ex never gave me silence. This person lived to talk non stop. It got the point that just hearing the voice will get me irritated. I never thought I could feel hatred towards someone but I did to this person.

Bingo. My ex wife wanted our daughter as a friend, someone to go shopping with. I was a parent first, friend second. Ex practised parental alienation. Daughter has grown up and keeping very little contact with mother. Unfortunately I have none. The ex is isolated from people who have seen through her lies. I am indifferent and live my life in peace and balance. God bless

The best advice I could give anybody who is healing from narcissistic abuse, especially in those early days, is to get rid of all social media and ask your friends and family not to post any pictures of you or tag you anywhere. You need to go really cold to them, so they have no idea what you are doing, who you’re spending time with etc. you’re probably at home taking life slowly and trying to recover from the trauma, but they don’t need to know that. They will be the one posting everything they do, exaggerating their every move, new clothes, probably found religion and virtue signalling with that. But they need to have no idea at all how you’re spending your days. Blocking them won’t do much because you know they’ll have 5 fake profiles to stalk you on. Love to all xx
