NASCAR Exhaust and Driveline Installation

IN this video Danny is completing the exhaust system and driveline installation in his NASCAR Xfinity Series Toyota Supra Track Day Build.
This includes the installation of a set of ProFab Inconel Headers, oval crossover and boom tube.
To round out the driveline installation he is installing a new 48.5" driveshaft with hardened u-joints and input yoke.

Danny, what does is say about a car that has the boom tube coming out the drivers side of the car vs the passenger side as yours is being ran? My car has it this way and I have seen others as well online and for sale that way. Were they ever ran that way or was it modified afterwards?

Depends on the rules when it was built and the type of track it was built to race on.

Did the drive shaft made that whistling straw sound at 1:55? That was weird. P.S. 5,001 subscribers now!

Thanks for subscribing and supporting the channel. That sound was the yoke shaft sliding into the seal in the tail shaft.

What exactly does that metal conditioner do to the header material? Is is just cosmetic?

It conditions the surface and prevents rubber, oil and grease from sticking to it and spots where anything may stick and burn on them.

Thanks Jordan! I appreciate the compliment. It's spent its entire life as a TRD test submission and approval car. It has the current Toyota GR Supra Composite body on it now. The history of the car is explained in the first video.
