might I suggest plumbing the +pressure from the pump go into the oil filter, than filtered oil thru the cooler, plumbed to the bottom of the cooler than out of the cooler to the engine. I've had good success with this method.

I appreciate the input. This system has three filers, before the pump, after the cooler into the block and technically 2 more at the tank in the rear. The 5 stage pan also has BMRS filter inserts in the pan. TRD builds them this way and recommends the canister filer after the cooler so that's how I'm doing it.

loving the level of detail. quick question - what's the snack situation like in the garage? you got a bench/cabinet for good stuff? maybe a cryptically labeled drawer that says "NOT CANDY" but is in fact full of kit kats?

I've got a full size double door refrigerator that was in our house. When we remodeled it became the shop fridge. I'm a fluid person, mostly regular water, Vitamin water and coconut water. I don't drink or smoke and maintain a mostly healthy diet, not many snacks.

another quick question - what's your favorite tool to use in the shop? i mean like the most satisfying to use, that makes you go "nice".

I have many, box brake, lathe, shear, and English wheel. I them all a lot.

When it comes to the road course races in the rain, how is the cowl opening/deflector changed to prevent water from getting into the air filter/engine during the race? I know when moving there wouldn't be much making it down the opening but I would assume during caution laps/pits it might make its way in

They're modified with drain hoses and shields.
