No one can fault Nate for being so busy, it’s great for him! After he blessed us with this podcast and the therapeutic laughs during covid, he should feel free to turn it over to these 3 as he travels. I assume that’s partly why Dusty was brought on in the first place.

What I enjoy most about TNP is how y’all are so different and your conversations are so convivial. It’s hilarious when you correct each other and then get irritated at being corrected and then apologize and then laugh at the whole thing. It’s so refreshing to hear regular people just talk. Keep it up !

Yeah, I really liked that they would do 2+ hours each week. It was different, and they put out quality episodes. Even at 2 hours I hoped they would keep going. The one hour format cut back on the comments banter and rushed the topic - not that they every get around to diving too deep into anything 😂

I reckon we’re all hoping that, time permitting, they let the time roll on well beyond the hour. Whenever I ran out of time I always circled back to the longer episodes to finish them 😃

If the goal is a Nate-land podcast, yes I miss having him in every week. And it makes sense to have a one hour 'sode. I'll take it! If the goal is Nateland Entertainment, and I feel B, A, D can carry it in their own right and make a great trio, then maybe a 90 minute, 2 hour version is still an option. Whatever this journey is, I'm in!

I agree and there needs to be some more thought put into this. Nate claimed that he changed it to “Nateland Entertainment” because he wanted to use his platform to promote others and help them get exposure. If that is truly the case, he should explain how he’s just not going to be able to be as big a part of the pod, but graciously turn it over to the other 3/4ths that we adore. There is certainly a desire for the product- help your fellow comedians + make the people happy! Maybe it could be called Breakfastland… or take turns with each of them in Nate’s chair and rotate thru Breakfastland, Aaronland and Dustyland depending on who’s hosting. Quite honestly, I love the chemistry and respect between the three of them as opposed to the foursome at this present moment.

I was a little disappointed to hear the podcast was going to be shortened. I wish Bosco Bates would keep his bad ideas to himself! All joking aside, love the podcast. One of my big podcast pet peeves is when the hosts constantly check on time, it’ll be mid convo..”what are we at on time?” Then once they know they clocked an hour they’re ready to end it. Makes me feel like they don’t really want to be there. I loved that nateland didn’t care about that and would just let it flow however it would. Just my two cents.

Truth. I love how Bates manages to be, simultaneously, the underdog and a top-dog while running unassumingly with the big dogs. A lot of his real gems are so subtle you feel like you finally see the Magic Eye no one else does - but as often as they seem to gloss over his zings or make him the butt of their jokes, there is a reason he's been part of the crew from the beginning. They ain't stupid - and the variety in personalities between these guys makes it a good recipe (a soup with only one ingredient is just water).

Dusty was right! This style of furniture was imported from France in the late 1700s by the English, and the French called it a "long chair". The word chair in French is pronounced - 'shay-Z'. Dusty pronounced it correctly. Love the show! As an interior designer, I'm just happy to contribute. Thanks for the laughs.

If the keeping up with the podcast is a bit too crazy for your guys' schedule, I think I'd rather have a long 2hr podcast be released every other week than a shortened one every week. We get that you all are a lot busier now than when the podcast first started (stuck at home during Covid), but the atmosphere that your folks fell in love with was the long, seemingly aimless rambling, rabbit trails, ranting, casual discussions, and random facts from unknown sources. I agree that the shortened format feels a bit rushed, like making someone jump out of their seat right when they were getting comfy. Love you guys and will stick with you regardless. We know life must be crazy for you and appreciate letting us casually "hang out" with you. Just thought I'd share my thoughts

Us southerners are probably more likely to say “Chase Lounge” for chaise lounge but it is actually “Shayz Long” as it’s a French name meaning long chair. I think we think it’s lounge, because it’s used for lounging. But even that is derived from the French phrase for long. If you think about it the direct translation sounds like a southern phrase, to get long. As in “I’m tired, I’mma get long real quick”

Loved Nate. I was thrilled during Covid to see this KZfaq podcast pop up. Followed him since the 30 minute special about the crocodile and Starbucks, and then had a comment read in the third episode I think. But a few years in, I find I like the others as podcasters better. If you gave me a choice to see Breakfast at a Church and Nate in an Arena, I would choose Breakfast. I’d love hearing more about these three comics come into their own. Bates seems to have decided he’s a sidekick to Nate, there to promote Nate, but I love Bates (and Dusty and Aaron) so much more. From eating lots of donuts to controversy, lol 😂 I’ll add, I have insomnia so was one of those Wednesday 12:30am listeners, just loving people being nice, no politics, etc. southern accents and Aaron’s laugh lulling me back to sleep.

My only issue with the episodes being shorter is that they still are spending the same amount of time on their weekend catch ups and comments so we get even less time on the actual topic than before! Might as well not have one at this point.

Something definitely has to give to cut an entire hour out of the podcast. We had (1) catch up (2) commercials/ads reads, (3) fan comments and (4) topic. The shortest segment was (4) topic but you probably don’t want to cut that. (2) commercials / ad reads help pay for this so those won’t get cut. But after cutting we are yet to see how much of the overall feel gets lost too. Many times the podcast just starts hitting its stride at the hour mark. Or it might feel overly rushed or like things get cut out. I have Bates’ worried look going for the next few weeks until we find out.

The best comedian bombing story I know of was almost 7 years ago. My brand new CEO of 1 month authorized our event committee to hire a comedian for our holiday party. This is before I knew all about you guys and did a search on GigSalad and found a guy out of Atlanta. I showed his clips too the committee and we all agreed. I knew it wasn’t going to go well when he finally showed up and said hi 5 minutes before he was to go on stage, double fisting some beers and already slurring. Although we had discussed ahead of time it was a clean event with all ages present he went up and did the material he did not have uploaded to the site. He really leaned in to the race jokes also when he noticed most of our employees in the audience were white. It felt like at least 75% of our employees watched me while he performed while I watched the CEO and our Board of Directors who were present. Eventually I had to cut him off. We have not been able to book outside entertainment for the party since then and every year employees love to bring the story up and ask if we’re finally having another comedian again.

CHESTER DRAWERS: Love the furniture stories! It led me to think about how we grow up just accepting certain terms in the South without questioning them or trying to correct them. I'm from Fort Worth Texas and grew up with family and freinds always having a "Chester Drawers" as being a standard piece of furniture in each bedroom. It wasnt until I was a grown man travelling to different places in the world that I realized the proper name is "Chest of drawers". Just recently, I saw that my cousin whose in his 70's advertise his Chester Drawers for 100$ in the marketplace. Have y'all ever called them "Chester drawers"? Maybe that is the correct name and "Chest of drawers" is just for fancy people.

Being a hotelier I enjoyed the “bad hotel furniture” bit. The chase lounge pictured is actually from the Holiday Inn express and not the Hampton. It’s actually a standard on Expresses built or renewed in the past few years. We always joke they were trying to save money by cutting off half the chair. Believe it or not, some guests love those chairs and even sleep in them. Thanks for bringing laughter back in my life. I know exactly what Dusty means. When my brother and I were in college, the Christian Student Fellowship took a group down after hurricane Katrina. We were both capable carpenters and expected to help rebuild things. It basically ended up being a bunch of students getting photo-ops moving piles of debris from one place to another.

Since Nate always makes fun of Barthalamu Bates having a cpap machine, you should do an episode on sleep apnea. 😂 Then do an episode on Aaronland about gout! And do one for Nate on sugar. Then throw in one for Dusty on trailer parks. Love the podcast, keep it up Folks!

Without a doubt the beginning of the end. As someone who has seen Nate multiple times on the road, my impression of him has unfortunately and involuntarily changed for the worse. His heart just isn't in the podcast anymore. I'm sure he's making enough money from ticket sales to where any drop off in podcast revenue is not a big deal to him/ his family. Understandable, but passionate supporters were found through this podcast. If I had to guess, episode 200 will be the finale.

Them deciding it was the “Nateland podcast” was maybe a mistake. So he leaves and then they have to rebrand it or cancel it. Would happily listen to two hours of Aaron, Bates, and Dusty. They seem more relaxed and happy without him to me… Dusty Meadows podcast, BatesWorld, Aaronland… I actually loved when this podcast first came out listening to Aaron podcasting in his van 🙂 Aaron has that kind of voice and laugh that I’ll listen to his add reads even.

Ok fellas, my dad's roommate in college at Purdue was Astronaut Jerry Ross and I just got confirmation that the moon is real and so was the landing. 🤣 "A veteran of seven space flights, Ross has more than 1,393 hours in space, including 58 hours and 18 minutes of EVA on nine spacewalks. He was the first human to be launched into space seven times." By the way, my last name is pronounced "KUH NAAA FULL" 😂

I LOVED the Aaron and Dusty Hot Nashville chicken video. My son and i were in Nashville looking for a good fried chicken restaurant...since thats what is advertised as one of Nashvilles specialties......guys...most every restaurant was " hot" chicken...... 😅... You both did an awesome job with that...laughed till the tears ran.....😂

If this show had always been 1 hour, the folks would have likely missed some great classics such as NOSO, animal fights, undercover athlete, etc. There might not even be a “Hello folks and hey bear”. Can we get a compromise of either 1-1/2 hours or back to 2 hours when Nate can’t be there?

I saw Dusty on his most recent visit to Utah and made a suggestion that he use his cartoon likeness (from some of his U2be vids) and make a water bottle/laptop sticker as a merch option. My grand scheme was bigger than just wanting a souvenir of the show that I could display more often than a t-shirt: Having also seen Nate his last visit out west and clocking Aaron's dates to be in Vegas this year - I had hoped to sweep the Nateland Four and level up my status as a true Folk (even if it means a roadtrip to catch Bates unless dates in my area pop up). With the BADland bunch, I can hope to get a picture to track my accomplishment - but getting a pic with Nate? Forgetaboutit. I would love to put a sticker of each comedian I've seen in my collection, and maybe even make a connection by eliciting a knowing "Hey Bear" or "Go Jackets" from a stranger in a coffee shop who is also "Having a Good Time." (think about it fellas - if you have bobble heads you might as well have stickers. Its a smart move, trust me: I have ideas for days and this is a good start)

We used to have our TV on the mantle, but it felt super high. We haven't had the fireplace cleaned and don't use it, so now I built a little entertainment center that goes across the bricks of the fireplace and it sits more at eye level and it's so much better... if we ever lose power in the winter for a long period of time we'd be a lot colder I guess, but we watch a lot more TV than we spend in the depths of winter so its been a good trade off.

I’m currently listening to this episode in the hospital while my wife is in surgery. As I sit in this uncomfortable recliner, I can’t help but wonder why a hospital can’t afford better furniture for the families. Did Breakfast even think to research the infamous hospital room recliner chair? Update: the wife is out of surgery and everything went well

My ex-husband and I were given the best couch when our son was a baby. When he was about 4 y/o, he had a terrible stomach flu, and wanted to stay on the couch. I put down 3 layers of towels under him *just in case,* and he managed to avoid each one of them when he had a blow out during his nap.we tried cleaning it several ties and leaving it on our porch for a while to air out, but the smell was too much. My ex-husband nearly cried when we finally gave up and put it by the curb to be carted off. I still remind my now 16 y/o son about the time he cost us our favorite couch.

I've been binge watching your shows all day for that last week and have you on while I'm working at home so thank you. I seen Dusty on Netflix and finally watched it after passing it up a few times i thought I'm just going to watch it and it's hilarious so thank you again. I'm a comedy freak with favorites like Ian bagg, Nate, Sebastian, Craig shoemaker, and other favorites i watch over and over. I don't think I've seen an aaron or first base boy specials so sorry about that 😢. I watched about Nate being dyslexic and made me think you'd get a kick out of this... I worked as an insurance claims rep in a call center and a customer called in and was giving his info about an accident and he stumbled on some words and me trying to be funny and break the ice over this bad situation decided to say "its ok im DICKS-LEXIC too"!!!! Wow, totally didn't help at all. Keep up the laughs guys!!! And aaron keep up all the laughing at Nate and keep Dusty on the show. The other guy definitely holds you all together really so keep that shit up...😂
