Holy cow, when Shay said that the dude that found the diamond in Arkansas looked like a mix of Aaron and Billy Bob I almost crashed my truck I was laughing so hard. Shay was a great guest and was very funny for a guy that doesn’t do stand-up. Add another great episode to the vault, this one was a classic! So long folks.

Cowboys and wild cattle in far West Texas--I figured you guys might find this interesting given all the dairy cattle talk. I cowboy for a few ranches in West Texas and I can confirm there are wild cattle running around out this way. Commercial cow/calf operations will loose track of cattle due to poor fencing and other factors but mostly because these ranches are so massive, it is not uncommon for cattle to slip into the neighboring ranches or simply out of sight. I’ve worked 1 pasture alone that is over 22,000 acres. Massive. Often, cowboys will get together and go gather up and rope all the maverick(term for wild or feral cattle)and sell them for as much as they can get. It gets a bit western out here. I love the show and have been following Nate for years. Keep it up gentlemen. P.S. Take it easy on Bovine, uh, I mean Brian. He seems like a nice guy.

I love that Shay grew up with gospel/Christian music and mentioned Rascal Flatts like they were the 'bad boys' of music. Possibly the cleanest band ever, and he said it like Slipknot came to town.

I live in Fort Smith Arkansas and never knew Shay was from here. It was great to hear how vaguely he described his childhood here. It was almost like he made it up and didn't want to double down on the lie. "I went to a school there" Also, Briar Bear had the best joke of the week about whistle singing.

I listened to the first half of this while doing work in another browser window. The whole time I was picturing that Shay was Dan. When I finally switched over to watching and realized I was picturing the wrong guy, it was a shock. I'm not saying Shay is hard to look at, it's just like when you reach for your glass of Coke and accidentally take a swig from your kids milk glass. For years now I've been assuming that Dan was Shay and Shay was Dan. It nearly ruined my day to find out the truth. It was so jarring that I had to go back and rewatch the episode over from the beginning to correct the scenes I imagined in my mind of Shay having all these Arkansas-farm adventures. suk suk suk sukefeeee!!

I never comment on podcasts, but I wanted to voice my appreciation for Nateland. My 17 year old daughter and I listen independently and message each other or talk about what cracked us up almost every week. It's rare that a 17 year old girl and her dad can be interested in the same thing and we have you guys to thank for that. I've honestly had a huge problem lately with where I get my laughs from. I'm an amateur standup Comedian, and this Podcast has given me SO MUCH relief from the stress, as well as material. Thank You so much Nate, Aaron, and Burgermeister! All three of your "disproportionate" (just for Nate) inputs give me laughs and relief, which are so invaluable in my life

New to the podcast, starting at the beginning and working my way through. Thank you for the respite from all the B.S. that surrounds us, it is much appreciated, Enjoy Betty and Aaron and also the frequent Seinfeld references. A couple of my favorites are when George quits his job on Friday and walks back in on Monday like nothing ever happened, then ends up slipping his boats a "mickey". When Kramer finds the Merry Griffin set in the dumpster and sets it up in his apartment. Once you've landed on that theme I have to believe that episode pretty much writes itself - Genius. You've got a podcast about nothing which is something very good today. Thanks and don't change.

Now that so many of us work from home, this podcast feels like you have three funny co-workers that you sit alongside. These topics are absurd- which turns into absurdly funny, and are very much like how you normally interact with your friends and coworkers. Right down to Nate freestyling his thoughts to Bumblebee actually seeking out the correct information- this is exactly how many group dynamics work. This is the best!

Regarding cows and milk - in nature they would only be producing milk for their calf. Then the calf would eventually wean off and the milk would dry up. We keep them producing by milking them, but they still get weaned so often to have a calf and then it starts all over.

When I was in 3rd grade, my dad, whose name is “Bruce Wayne Johnson” covered up his last name on his drivers license and convinced a kid in my class that he was Batman. The kid proceeded to ask if we could take a field trip to the “Batcave” in our house. The field trip didn’t happen, but I’m pretty sure the kid still believes my dad is Batman. Also, Braum’s still exists and is an Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri delicacy.

I'm from oregon originally then moved to Montana, and I have ONLY EVER heard it called KITTY CORNER. So I'm guessing it's a west of the Rockies (lived in western Montana) term. You can do a episodes on the Oregon trail or WWII. Or theres a lot of episodes that may not fill a 90ish min podcast so you can do a2 part episode and do 45 min of 1 thing and 45 min of something else. That way you can do a full fun episode that you normally wouldnt do cuz I wasnt long enough. LOVE THE PODCAST on youtube it makes it so much better to see you're face's on the reactions. Keep UP the great work Nate Arron & Fish Bait

It’s been a while but when Aaron talked about canceling membership at the gym, it reminded me that I tried once to do it over the phone by saying my Mom had died and I had to go back home to Puerto Rico! And I was “fake” choking up a bit, and then they asked if there was any possibility I would be coming back to St. Louis, and I said probably to move because I was “permanently” moving back home, and they said “well ok when you come get your stuff before you move back just come in and cancel”, let’s just say luckily my mom is alive still and I have yet to cancel that subscription and this was 5 years ago. Love you guys!

I grew up down the road in Arkansas. One kid's Dad owned 'Petit Jean Meats' so we got to tour where they made sausage. My best friend lived on a chicken farm which became another field trip. One time we were cutting through the woods, to the chicken house, and a wild hog (razorback) came out of the woods chasing us. Luckily her Dad got the four wheeler and scared it off before it killed us.

My three boys and husband would ALWAYS make fun of me until one day on a deer lease, they started yelling "Zug, zug, zug" while we were riding around the property on a UTV. It was all laughs on their end until they turned around, and the ENTIRE herd of cattle on the property were following us in a single file line! On the down side, I cannot convince them that I am NOT a "farm girl" just because I know a little something about farm life. Love the podcast and I'm a loyal fan even when my husband asks me "How can you listen to those guys just talking about random stuff for so long?"

Since we're talking about high notes and whistles... I mean I'd like to put Breakfast's nose whistle up there with Mariah Carey... maybe Shay can have him take a nose solo on the next song, add a Grammy to the resume of channel 5 news. Great episode!!

How funny that Shay used the word “Exit” as his example of a word losing meaning. I once repeated the word “exit” and experienced semantic satiation.

YO I was totally in Florida for Fine Arts the year Shay won, my sister made the top 10 for her female vocal solo! Do I remember him performing? Not a chance lol Also fun fact the rapper NF was there that year as well for his rap solo

I did not expect this episode to be funny; when I heard that a singer was going to be the guest co-host I dreaded it. Shay is actually funny. Brian's face when he said "What the Fouke is that?" was screaming demonetization. Aaron had on a bright hat and Nate got less zingers than one of those fantasy football losers doing standup

Hoo boy... Just a lot of awkward silences to get through on this episode. Seriously, Nate and the E-Trade Baby may have saved KZfaq by deciding to pull the plug just shy of two hours, otherwise ya boy might’ve kept going until the app was full. Anyone else imagining Shay still talking past midnight, by himself, lights out, equipment switched off, maintaining that level of energy and intensity? First guest to have access to and not use the Helix mattress. Love the podcast.

Nice to see the Weberville podcast got some sponsorship. Ron got the bag from Sunny D. I mean why else would he wear that hat.

Everybody I have ever known in my life says "kitty corner." Maybe because we're Canadian? I've never heard "catty corner" before today. To quote Nate, if you had said "catty corner" to me, "I probably would have argued with you about it." To be honest, though, I thought you all were going to go down the "adjunct professor" route again and try to argue that that house is your "adjunct neighbour." Keep up the good and sometimes wildly inaccurate work!

I thought it was “kiddy corner” and figured I was wrong because I was Canadian. But maybe I’ve been misspelling it in my Canadian head my whole life. Kind of like Anne with an E. 😀

As an add-on, I tried to ask my kids what they would call the house on the corner, and neither of them had ever even heard "kitty corner." They thought I was crazy. One said, "I would call it the house that's diagonal across the street." The other said, "Why would I need to explain it. Couldn't you just get the street address from Google Maps?"
